From time to time, we might need art for cards. We are a small company that publishes tabletop games. The final art size for a playing card would be about 600 pixels by 600 pixels. Do you do commissions?

Most of our games right now are historical military, but we hope to expand into science-fiction and fantasy. What are your rates for black and white or color artwork for a playing card (roughly 2"x2")?

Well, it's very nice of you to think my art might be suitable for you!!
As you may have noticed, I tend to do mainly fantasy artwork. I am currently working on a project for a fantasy role-playing game writer, designing book covers, cards, etc. I would definitely consider working with you in the future.........please feel free to note me when you have something more definite in mind.

It's possible, and I would like to work with you, but our art budgets for our games are low.

For card art (finished size 2" x 2"), we can afford $10 per art piece. We would just need the soldiers/vehicles. We do not need backgrounds. Here is a link to our Special Forces game to give you an idea for what we'd be looking for...

I know what you mean about working "after the kids go to bed". My wife and I work together to design the games. We do the normal dinner and homework stuff until the kids go to bed at about 8, then we start designing or playtesting whichever game we're working on.
