The shaded one, most definitively, even if the brighter one is more pleasing to look at. The darkness adds to the character theme perfectly and adds a layer of subtle hinting at what lays beneath, and the rainbow in the darkness can draw ten million analogies of what goes on inside

Then you should give it a looksie. 4-5 episodes and you'll get the idea.

Good animation, coupled with Characters that are not blatant sues or tropes along with the Friendship is magic theme and the message of love and tolerate. It just gives you a boost of positive energy that can be fielded in your everyday life.

myself for instance, I've been cynical all my life and after watching the show my old values kinda crumbled and given that you feel bad it might do you some good. It's not a cure-all, but definitely worth looking into.

I'm not against cartoons cus I watch "adventurer time", and anything comical. I may give it a try, but I'm never like too happy world stories cus gives little to the plot but mainly cus it paints the world too much black and white, which in my view does more harm then good for the world. Don't paint me as an cynical person as I do think things are moving in the world in the right direction and ppl even the "evil ones" try to do the right thing or at lest convince them selves its the right thing like Hitler and Stalin. For example, Stalin had very cynical view of the world he though ppl are too selfish, dumb, and weak to truly build an perfect world. So the way he saw it ppl must be ruled by an iron fist by their betters who truly knows what best for them.
I do see good and evil like most ppl do as shown in this question, If everyone is try to do good why is there evil?

You must have missed my point. Even if the show has a message of harmony with pastel colors and ponies it does not beat you over the head with it. It's love and Tolerate. Not Love unconditionally because we live in a perfect world where nothing evil happens.

It brings up the best of humanity, and puts it into the colors and mane characters. Teaching lessons such as how to deal with people with a different racial identity or religious beliefs to kids. It's not meant for adults certainly, but we watch it because its the only worthwhile television material in years.

OK you don't have to get work up with it, I never said there anything wrong with the show it just doesn't seem to be in my taste and I did said I'll give it a try . And nowhere did I said it was an "perfect world", just it "seems" too black and white or simple, maybe the the point of the show and that OK o.o everyone has and right to like and dislike what they want.

I'm not looking for an argument of any kind just saying my opinion .

oh, i never took offence or anything. Just thought you might have misunderstood. I think maybe explaining it in good or evil / black and white makes it a bit of a long stretch for the true meaning. Optimistic tunes is more like it. It produces positive energies and invokes positive feedback.

true but they do put a lot of action in the newer seasons. I mean they are doing their own graphics now O.o. But I like watching comedies cus I don't want to think at times just relax, you know what I mean? "Ghost in the shell:standalone complex" is something if you want to think my dad can't watch one episode with out getting confuse, its not that hand to understand -.-;.
