# About me
I joined DA because of my beloved brother =RazielMB. He is the best brother, best artist, and best human being I have ever been fortunate to know and even more fortunate that he chose me for his sister! I put HIM first always. The portrait of me you see as my ID was made for my birthday by Raz 2012 December 18. My avatar was also made by Raz as a surprise gift to me. I treasure his gifts like no other I've ever received. I have decided to start publishing poems I've written. My first published poem "Ode to an Angel" is dedicated to and about my brother.
I will slowly add to this and hope one day to have a writing career. I was an English major but switched to dentistry. Writing has always been my ambition but I have always been to afraid. Now I am ready to get started. :D

As many of you remember, my brother Serge has been fighting ALS, (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) for several years now and some of you have contacted me asking how Serge is doing. So it is time for an update.
At this time, there is no cure for ALS. There is a lot of research going on and there is always hope for a cure if not for Serge for others suffering from ALS. I love you right back sweet Dainas. I hate doing my journals with stash. It is so difficult and I cannot get things to line up the way I want them to or even come close to it. For instance on the journal for Serge I wanted the award photos to be bigger but it would not let me do it on the middle and end one. Only the first one had the little things on the corner so I can drag it to size. I tried over and over again then I had to give up or the journal would not get out. I know you are here when you get a chance to catch your breath. I truly appreciate that when you can you respond to my comments. I understand.

Of course it means so me too I am so happy we met especially since I found out you are Raz's DA grandmother that is just so awesome!! I do not know all of his soul family but I know a lot of them and love meeting new ones! I hope and pray that Serge is improving.
