No problem. I like to see that someone takes my ideas and makes it better. I'm somewhat limited in my ability I've seen your work for a few years now, and I have to say it is probably the most unusual character I've seen on DA, Weasyl, or FA. I did read that you gave it a Greek term to identify it as something. A+ for originality. Looking forward to seeing new work for you. What's your Tumblr page called again?

Limited??? To be honest, I don't think so while I looked at your stuff. You are pretty good especially with the use of sequential method.

 was my limit in artwork. You got great potential that can bloom. 

Really? I thought there was stuff stranger than mine out there XD. I am amazed you mentioned Weasyl and FA which are both sites I avoid like the plague. Yup! I am high in mythology and folklore especially around greek, japanese, egyptian, and others.

I mean I still only use pencils. I bought an Intuos digital drawing board, but have yet to use it. I also jave GIMP 2.8, but only used some features to color a drawing once I have a great deal of requests, but haven't filled them. I should have plenty of time during winter. - - I've had people conemn DA, and instead move their work to FA or Weasyl. I've heard of Patreon lately and some other sites,but 3 sites is plenty for me. I guess there is always going to be a "flavor of the month" as far as what's a popular art site on the web. I too ave seen things that can not be unseen, here on DA. I guess it goes with the territory. A lot of people have chosen Dragons as their character, but again, so far I've never seen anyone use a creature such as yours. It is unique.

Well, I understand. 

Yeah, I can understand since da has turned into a social site. Actually, I condemn FA due to what they did to some of the people I know on there. To be honest. Actually someone at a convention told me about patreon too. huh. I wonder if it's worth it. Overall, I can understand about sticking with just 3 sites. 

Yeah, it's true that some art is not on every known art site. I don't think I can manage more sites til things are in harmony with sharing. No sharing feature, no usage. It does go with the territory indeed.

Thanks. To be honest, when I first created these creatures. I wasn't so sure what to call them. They were barely used or introduced til I noticed in hercules story about a god that matched the creatures I created. So I let greek mythology have some credit for figuring out what I have created. Knowing that it dates back when I can see why no one hardly used this character nor why it was duplicated in future history. Than again, You can call it original in a way. I'm glad you find them unique. If you got any questions. I'll be happy to answer them. Right now! I am currently working on a comic, so there might be a bit of a delay now.

The Intuos digital drawing board set me back about 90 dollars (It was on sale, and I would have liked to purchase the full size board, but it was twice as much. I'm not afraid to use it, but I've been drawing things for so long with pen pencils and paper, it's hard to get used to switching. I first tried GIMP 2.8, but there are so many steps in the process, it's taking me loner to color it and patch it up. I've been scanning anything I draw using an Epson scanner, but an dismayed on how weak or overly detailed the end product becomes. What I see seems not to be what the scanner sees. That's the reason for purchasing the digital drawing board. No more transfer problems. What is the difference between a Bamboo and what I've got? I've never heard of a Bamboo drawing board........Almost a year ago a DA member told of another member that had her account suspended because of what she had in her "stash". Even though the material was not viewable by anybody else but the DA member, DA accessed it and deleted/banned her account for the type of subject material it was. It's also a warning that DA officials see EVERYTHING". I've not been using FA or Weasyl before this year, so I don't know enough about either site..........I first referred to your main character as a "human/fish/shrimp thing" in one of my journal entries, because it seemed so weird to me, and I didn't know what to call him.

VERY BIG DIFFERENCE. Well more and likely imagine that digital drawing board is an update from the bamboo tablet. Unlike yours, that you can draw art strait on the screen, Bamboo tablet is just like using a mouse with precision. Basically a bamboo is almost as similar as using a mouse except you use a stylus just like your digital drawing board. Even though I paid about 180 dollars for my bamboo, it has been through some abuse and still works like I just got it from the box. Now that I think about it that was the reason why I got my new duck tape to repair my bamboo again. Yours will have the screen on the tablet while mine is just like having a mouse board in my hand. It's very disjointed from drawing because unlike yours with more direction, mine I have to predict where my pointer would be on my tablet and vice versa. I got use to it after practice, but if I had your thing, I'll be soaring.

Wow really? I don't know.... Da security has gotten lazier over the years. I would believe that when I was nieakitty 6 years ago, but now.... I bet yea if she would of done the same thing, they wouldn't give a flip anymore. I knew Fa in the past. Weasyl was still unknown, but Fa back then was more like a ruthless site similar to sleezy art. I was always informed that there are more people bantering you about little things, but now... it's here on Da, but I still stay with that til otherwise noted by someone I knew in real life. 

Journal Entry? Oh you mean the version 1-3 crimson scar. o.- or version 2.... well all I know was version 1-3 was the white shrimp fish tail thingy. Yeah... if I looked back at that now.... I wouldn't figure out what to call him either. It wasn't til later that I finalized it with mythology greek research. Funny how I created these before I even knew what the heck they were in mythology. All I knew was they were not mermaids/mermen, but people kept trying to fit them in that category. I keep telling them no... even though I am thinking about making fun of that idea just to tease.

Okay - I found the drawing you posted ("Dinner after Effect"), in which you consider him a "Nereus".  Your character is named Gypsey Toega, who turns into Crimson Scar. His brother is Clide Toega, other characters beingGelgo, James Valmear, Medessa Lionheart, Edgard and Jade Toega,

Oh wow.... so I figured it out that early. ROFL. Sorry I kinda amaze myself in a way because I seriously didn't remember when I even first called them nereus. I just basically kept the name when I moved on to Beta. Actually, there was more, but you got the ball soo far. However, as far as in the beta, I had worked on characters that hadn't had a release on the sites yet til further updates. They're not quite how I imagine them yet. Well, it has been over a while since I had a thorough look at my old account. I pretty much left it alive because there might be some ideas I might want to revamp in the beta version of the story.

I've known your work under the DA titles of Gyptiantiger, and tigerabrecreation. Through your character's appearance, he's had several names, and event had a brother too. I'll try to write down what names I think he's had and such.

You don't have to though. It's not really necessary. Really. I've been trying to update. So, it's best that I don't look at my old artwork alot while I am doing this as well as gaining my confidence back.

Actually, this is what I originally said on one of MY journal entries, when I was calling out the most unusually themed DA artwork I had seen:  "The second artist is gyptiantiger  - Most anthro artists have the usual creatures they use, but gyptiantiger has part of his gallery devoted to a double-headed, psychological-themed, shrimp tailed, inflation/muscle-growth "thing". I can't really describe what it is, other than I haven't seen anything else like it so far" - - - - - - - Please excuse this comment, as I was new to this site. I didn't mean to slam your work in any way, but it was an eye opener.

No problem. Atleast you mentioned my old and not my newer account. I wanted to keep myself at a low perspective working on focusing my artwork. While others pretty much go to my older account thinking for some reason I am still alive there and posting. I wanted to focus more on my artwork, not the social part. I don't mind being social once and a while, but it was getting ridiculous that I did more social and less artwork. Even people were not supportive of me branching out to improvement. I just wasn't moving in the direction I wanted to be in. Especially, I didn't want the drama to follow me to this account. Even though you mentioned that I did inflation and muscle growth... I am pretty much the black sheep of the inflation community. I'm not going to speak to much since I already gotten use to moving on. So, I do appreciate that. Since it's been over 2 years. I really don't care what people say about my old artwork. They can almost say anything they like now, even slam it down if the like. Doesn't matter to me one bit.
