I'm Irish/Norwegian and Mexican.

I do that too actually. How peculiar.

 

Oh? Some of my favorite mix ups. I'm.....let's see.....(counts on fingers) Irish, Scots-Irish (yes, there is a difference), French Canadian, Pennsylvania Dutch (German/Swiss), Polish, Ukrainian (my paternal heritage from way back and my namesake's origin), and the rest of me is half-Italian ( pure maternal heritage). And from Austria-Hungary, some of my ancestors from long ago were Jewish. Auschwitz records show some of my relatives (long distance who were descendants of my great-great-grandfather's family who did not come) died in the Holocaust, as my last name (Demkiew) is not popular and only they could have had it.

oh my goodness wow that's a lot of genealogy!

In England on my grandpa on my mom's side's family (The Springs, though in the 1400s it was written as Spryng) we were one of the richest Wool Families from the 1400s on to like the 1600s--kinda like the Medicis only not as famous lol There were lords and knighted folk and landlords and things like that. We have our own cathedral thing called the Parrish Church in Lavenham and our ancestors from the 1400s are buried there and our family crest is all over it, it's really neat. My mom visited it a few years ago.
