I love your art. There's something incredibly beautiful about it, beyond just looking nice. I feel like your pieces really have voices, and that in a quietly determined way they wish to say something. I think your titles really add to them, and they're really just perfect. Maybe you make them up at the last second when you're submitting them and filling out the title field like I sometimes do, but I think they really add to your work. Keep drawing, you have such a strong and wonderful artistic voice. It's not everyday you run across an artist whose pieces are more than just pictures.

Wow, thank you so so much for the comment, I don't think I've ever gotten (or could've hoped for) a more heartening response. I'm so flattered I couldn't respond for a few days! But I get a big smile on my face whenever I read it, I'm keeping it at the top of my inbox for inspiration.
I'm in the midst of a crushing art block and haven't picked up a pencil in a while, but I'm going to block out tomorrow night and try to push through it. Thanks again - you really helped!

Ah, I'm glad!~ I think subtlety can be kind of nice sometimes too, honestly. Titles that are right on the cusp of making sense, but not quite can actually be really powerful, in my mind. It's like they're ambiguous enough to let the viewer get something personally unique from the picture, but still function as a sort of loose guideline or something. Or even just a few words to get you thinking about the piece, whether it's related to the title or not. It makes you interact with the piece more, I guess.

asdfgdd I remember when I wasn't even a teenager. So angsty and trying to be grown up. And if I hadn't stayed in contact with you through dA, I think I would have cried when I lost BTS. I almost did, the day I came online an it was deleted.
And I am? I feel so special! You're my longest term, closest friend. I feel privilaged to get that position when on the site full of BTS kids, you had that reputation as the quiet graphics girl who roleplayed like an amazing person. Yet we still became buddies. :3
