Thank you, I have been trying to figure out how to make my own masks for a while. Your video helps, but do you think you can give me a more stupid friendly breakdown of the process? Any help would be appreciated, I have tons of sculptures that I want to transform into masks.

well, It tough to learn molding just by telling you. You have to get your hands on John Brown's Sculpting and Molding videos. I think volume 2 and 3 shows you how to make a mold. Also each mold is unique to the object your molding. You'll need to understand the principles of how to make a mold cuz there are many ways to do it. It requires more brain work and planning. Good Luck!

Thanks, i will definitely try to get my hands on those. Thanks for the help, and great work. I will probably be hitting you up for some hints in the future if thats ok.
But let me get this straight, from your video, you made the sculpture, then a plaster mold, then rubber, and then you pour resin into the rubber to make the mask?
OK, I'll leave you alone.
thanks again.

Yeah Thats the gist of the idea. Every mold is different and prepare for mistakes and a lot of trial and error. No matter how much you prepare experience will only help you. Patience and planning is required more of the mold making process than anything. Hit me up anytime- I'll help anyway I can.
Good Luck!

Thanks a lot.
No I don't know how to use a gun, I've wanted to get one one but have a lack of guinea pigs to help me learn.
I do have a bunch of stuff that's not online. I just never get around to scanning and posting it up.

Thanks for the watch! Cool tirbals, too. It's hard to find tribals that stand out, and the spirals do it well. Cheers!
