Jep I surely am! The last two works (Medusa and Lightning) receive lots of positive comments. A guy that lives in the same house (I live in a student hostel for 6 months), already asked me to draw him, because he thinks that I'm a real professional (I'm sure that he never looked on a site like DeviantArt before haha)

Those are clearly your most completed and successful works, no doubt your popularity will increase if you continue to improve. Are you going to draw him? My gallery is such a desert. Lately I tried to join some groups but I don't think I'm made for that. I think I hate the research for popularity, and will stop trying to be seen.

Thanks, those two are also the most time consuming works until now
And yes, I already have some photo's from that guy. Probably I'll start it tomorrow or else next weekend
Oh popularity is not that important indeed. It is just that increasing popularity proves a progression in skills! My drawings are mostly for myself, being busy with my hands and gaining new skills ^^

You seem to be launched and you already reached a high level! Keep on drawing, and gain not only skills, but lucidity and reflexion abilities. Art is made of that! Don't only focus on skills

Well, art is the graphic representation of a thought, a feeling, an opinion, an emotion or anything. That's why it's important to take liberties with the model and little by little, stop using models, except to express the feeling you have when you see it. In my opinion, it's important to develop what's behind the drawing, and not only the skills.

Those are very wise words that made me think! The thoughts/feelings/etc are plenty in my head! Seeing old drawings from 2005... It's for now the graphic representation as how you call it, that needs to be improved
And the aim is of course to combine it: skills and representation to strengthen the story behind the drawing!

Ah don't say that you have little wisdom or skills. Your gallery is a bit empty, but I'm sure that you have lots of inspiration? At least I can see that you work very very detailed and in depth, and that also requires certain skills (insight and lots of patience)
