I actually have a picture of a real Gibson and I'm scaling it to the actual size. That's how I'm making all the different pieces accurate to the real guitar.

So I dyed the fabric today. It's not all 100% matching (since I dyed each individually) but all the parts that are darkest are the ones you can't see ^^
I might be able to get most of it done this weekend, except the collar and edge on the jacket and the final fit of the pants...

now that I've sewn most of it together, you really can't notice at all, but it still bugs me, and the color isn't splotchy or anything, it's only a slight darkness in the first pieces I dyed.
