Depends on the doll you are refering to. There are many companies that sell abjds. ABJD = Articulated/Asian-Ball-jointed-dolls.
Are you refering to a particular one? Most of the ones in my gallery are either mine or a friends.
Would you like a list of a few companies to look at? They generally have to be ordered if you are located in the US.

that would be cool, sure you can give a list. do you know where you can get those same kind of dolls but girls ones instead? b/c whenever i see these dolls they're always guys, and i was just wondering if there were girl ones too.

It is true the boys seem to be more popular then the girls. But they do make a lot of girl sculpts! 
A couple of my dolls are from a company called Dollzone, you can see an agent for them at JunkySpot.com he also carries a lot of other companies. Obitsu are not the same as abjds. (he also tends to carry a lot of companies that are on the more budget friendly side like DZ).

Hmm the last company featured in my lil family is dreamofdoll.com and Trivial is from Bobobie (also can be found on Junkyspot).

Well, unfortunately I can't help you out... Sorry, although I can talk about fencing! What play is it you play? Nothing with swords? (I only accept to play roles in plays when they include at least being in contact with blades, or if I get to use them... heh)
There's this faire here in september, which is a "heavy warfare" faire, it's still middle ages, but only with heavily armoured cavalry and infantry, and with artillery: ballistas, catapults, mangonneaus... Sometimes, We are lucky enough to have the presence of trebuchets, bombards or early cannons!
Of course, they have a special firing range where they make demonstrations... It's VERY impressive!
We also have black powder shooters, mainly Napoleonic reenactors... I hope to try shooting one some day, or perhaps a handcannon, to see if I like it, but I doubt it, preferring the bow... Even the crossbow is too much... The cannon, perhaps, would do...

We only use masks in free combat or modern fencing, but otherwise, in our choregraphies, we have no armor whatsoever (except maybe for decorative purposes), the idea is to do stage combat or what you see in movies, (which would be ridiculous if the actors were wearing masks).
I like the idea of painting stuff on the mask though, I might do that some time, for now, I have to finish my chainmail...
I've never been to the States, but if I do, I'll definitely have to try out fencing there, and go to a Ren faire, I have the feeling the US faires are much more axed towards the Renaissance and Pirate period than the French, in France, it's more of the Medieval period, both late and early, a bit of Antique period, with Gauls and Romans, and otherwise, it's the Napoleonic times, but I don't like it that much: the musket and pistol have overrun the battlefield by then, I prefer when it was up close and personal... (You don't have this intimate contact with your agonizing victim with ranged weapons... lol j/k)
I say that but I do practice archery, and I do like muskets and flintlocks, as long as they remain the "alternate" weapon, and not the main...

Thanks for the link! I spent a very (long) nice time going through a bit of everything, the fencing techniques are the same here (obviously... The pointy end goes into the other guy), I try to do some fencing wherever I go, to learn a few "local" tricks (what in France we call "bottes", or "passa" in Italian)...

The celtic fights are amongst the most violent, the shield is used very agressively, but I don't like their shields as they don't have straps but a manipule... Hard to parry properly, especially since they're light (3 kg).
I wonder, where do your blades and equipment come from? Most our renaissance weapons are French, costumes are either made by ourselves or bought from Germany (Leonardo Carbone), and armour or medieval weaponry is made in the Czech Republic (Jiri Krondak, Fabri Armorum and stuff), they're very sturdy, and to me, they're the best, you can go on for ages and they don't get a single jag, whereas the Hanwei we used to use before would shatter...

We don't do a lot of combat in our club, but choregraphy, so we don't need any armor, and can use heavy weapons and otherwise "dangerous" techniques... We did a show once in which we fought nude (celtic style: short sword and shield) it was fun!
