you said you used 285's but one blew up? exactly what happened? because both of mine have decided to only fire once and then don't fire via sync cord until i remove the batteries and put them back in

Yeah, well i fired it then it made a wierd noise and gave off a burning smell! And after that wouldn't charge up.. well it would make the charging up noise but no lights would come on and wouldn't fire..
