# About me
I am 29 years old. I love to paint digitally with my Wacom tablet I enjoy all aspects of art, but, more importantly I love to capture the movement and the mood in painting. There is nothing better than a great piece of work that tells a story. I have always enjoyed art and games even to this day. My love for art is so strong that it consumes my daily life and it is the only thing that I have ever had the will, passion, and longevity to see through. That's about it for now. break-a-leg, skin-a-knee, knock-em' dead, collect a 1-up, and hit the next level.# Comments

Nice! I am not sure what I can speak about and what I can't. An N.D.A was never presented to me but I don't know if the Author would want me to talk about it. I will say this much...It's Pretty neat-o and right up your alley. I will fill you in soon. I am about to submit my newest piece to him by tomorrow or rather today, Sunday August 5th, 2012. Anyhow I am not even sure if I can submit it to dA yet. I am rambling on.....soon bud, very soon I am so exited and keep me detailed on that gallery feature!

Sounds like a sweet deal you've got brewing! Keep me posted! I'm looking at two gallery features now actually. One is the main gallery sometime next year and the other is smaller with works hung in local businesses at the end of this year. Very excited. I've also started commissions. I've already got 3 lined up. So this has been a pretty exciting art year... For both of us!

sure has been a cool year and it can only get better with time. I see that you are doing commissions. Are they commissions for free or for dA points, or...? I tried doing the commissions thing and could never get any clients. oh I picked up two guitar students they other day so that's got me a happy camper. oooh, ooohh! how is your new kiddo doing? got any funny or awww, cute! moments yet?

didn't want to dirty up the comments section of your portrait so I'm here. I'm glad I have the likes of you, Dave Rapoza and Daarken to keep me motivated to get better. I made a pact with my self that I would paint or draw at least once a day everyday no matter waht. I cant believe how much that has helped me and kept the fire stoked. You guys and your advice are just awesome!

Wait till ya see what I've got coming down the pipe man. I'm even digging what I'm doing lol. Three words wedding, smokey, minimal. Totally different than I'm used to drawing but hey that's why we do this right??

Can't wait. I love to see others out there and pushing their boundaries. I must say I am rather curious in respect to the wedding, smokey, minimal. It's combination that puts pictures in my head so I wanna see if what I think I'm seeing in my head matches what your about to show me.

ha well not sure what you had in mind lol! Totally different style than I'm used to on a digital format, but I have done it before in graphite. It's fun to do and it was a request from a friend whose wedding I had to miss because of our new son being born. It's one of those pieces that as you get done with each section you are like "hell yeah I like that" lol

How are things going man? Haven't heard from you in a while. I got the Color and Light book, beautiful stuff and great insight in that thing. I also picked up How to draw on the right side of the brain. That another good book that makes you see things a little different.

hey bud I havent been on in a while on account life trying to pull me in different direction. In any case, I told you it was a great book. I will certainly check out How to draw on the right side of the brain. In the meantime I noticed you have a new and very beautiful piece out as well. Fantastic Job. I must say you have a very good understanding of fabric; a definite strong point of yours. If you get a chance I am posting a portrait "based" on Scarlett Johansson. It isn't exactly a look-a-like but i wanted to practice what I have been learning about light and the photo I used was ideal so....hope you like, oh oh oh pay close attention to the color of the shadows on the Scar-Jo piece. It is something I picked up from that book. Talk to you soon I hope. Sorry I've been away for a while.

yea i decided to get brave and put my Ad from facebook up here and see if I can drum up some business. Maybe it will and maybe it won't. But, one cannot say I didn't try. I think the next step is to try some local advertising in the papers and around the city. We shall see how it goes. I don't know how commission pricing goes for an unknown like me but I have actually lowered my rates by at least half.

I think for portrait work, especially of your quality it's right in the ball park. Does that price include any framing or printing? Or is that just the file? After what I did this past few weeks I would feel cheated taking any less than what you have listed!

yes for the moment. Man i was feeling sick about a week ago, then the next thing i know a few days ago my right lower side started hurting, real bad! I had to go to the hospital. on a 1-10 i was an 8 easy. It turns out I have myself a kidney stone. I am doing O.k now. I still haven't passed the stone but the doctor feels like it will pass on its own. BUT JUST SO YOU GIRLIES OUT THERE KNOW, you can't pull the giving birth jig on me anymore cause i know how you feel!

I loved it! I think I learned a few things and I'm trying to use what I learned in my next piece. I really appreciate it Justin. I haven't had a lot of people around me support what I do like that and I cannot thank you enough. I'm really enjoying painting and learning every week I do something I learn. That's the best part to me! You are a true inspiration and teacher my friend!

Did it explain how I mixed the colors as a response to one of your questions? Btw, I posted it to the EliteArtist group and it got rejected. Ha! I could see that one from a mile away! I am going to submit it again just to irritate the moderators.

It did! I had a hunch that that's how you did it but to see it was just great! I learned a lot especially the going from dark to light, I'm trying that on the piece I'm working on now, so far I have notice you get more depth out of it. I would submit it another 10 times just to get my point across! I like the screen saver you made, and I'm big into the yin yang thing so that was really cool to watch. I thank you for taking the time and showing me some stuff, don't stop now! I'm like a sponge, haha!

Thanks. That's how I did it. I had a wonderful time making the video. I decided to write them to inquire it's rejection and that to tell them I will be flying solo from now on instead of representing their group. Oh, well I thought it would be nice to post my art and get some recognition as I aspire to become more in the world. That's how it is I suppose. You win some, you lose some. On to the next painting,woo-hoo! One day when I am a pro, some of them might say, "hey I know that guy he used to be in our group and I will say sorry I have no idea who they are and have never seen them, don't what your talking about".

haha yeah you dont need them, They are but one of thousands of groups. I havent even heard of them until this message string. I think with the art that you do it's only a matter of time before you are widely know and a great artist and a mentor to those who need it. That is a rare find! Keep posting tutorials, I for one and watching and listening.
