it was a lovley picture! I own a dove myself (a ringneck, or "laughing" , dove,)...she just litterally laid an egg before I came on here.
Your whole gallery is really beautiful, I looked through much of it; I plan on coming back and commenting, but things have bene touch-and-go for me recently.

My best friend as a child was what Native Americans call "Spirit Trees"...being raised as a white person on an Indian Reservation, maybe it inspired magic, but she was my constant companion, and even in death I feel her joy and wisdom sorround me. Oh, you know? You can crop things in MS Paint, too, but it's kinda tricky. You have to resize the picture alot as you crop it so you don't distort the actual picture, but you can also do it that way, if you have paitence
MS Paint, or "Paint" is a program that comes on just about every Windows operating system. Go to Accessories> Paint, paste a picture in it, size it smaller and smaller until distortion is gone/picture is right size, then crop the white out of the photo by selecting the whole picture, and dragging the white away.

I think it's pretty hard to "copy" photoshop because it's protected, but there should be online sites where you can crop things easily, such as photobucket, and such
Try photobucket first, it's free, plus it's bandwith allows you to put lots of pictures in there--so like if you have video or pictures that need editing before they get on DA, they can go in there too for cropping/storage.
To crop in photobucket, just click Edit> size> and I think that should work

Man, I had to have a friend make my avatar XC
On my old account, I just found a free, non-copywrited picture and went to photoshop (or similar program,) and resized it to DA standards. I think its 100x100 or 50x50...I forget which, but those are usually board stanards

i totally dig ur writing. sum of ur poems had like an Em. Dick. (Emily Dickinson) style. where you gotta read it all and sorta let it make up one picture as a whole. i like the way you write. don't listen to the peeps who say its not beautiful, they're just lacking the ability to visualize and find higher meaning in things.
