Your group seems to be looking for photographers that are more serious then I'm willing to be. Why do you have an amateur photo gallery?

Well we're not really looking for serious photographers so much as good photographs, which you have. The regular folders are typically for more high standard work whereas the amateur folder is for those photos that are still good, but not as good as the others

Ooh I just noticed you sig, it's really cool . I know what you mean about good bread, one time we got a loaf from a bakery, I kept meaning to toast a slice but I couldn't stop eating it on it's own XD there was half the loaf left after I finished. Mmmm good bread!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chausiubao In reply to dwinky [2006-11-28 20:00:57 +0000 UTC]

yea...theres nothing like good bread, its not supposed to be THAT good on its own, but it really is!

I was in love with your gallery first time I saw it. Especially the breads. I like to bake buns on Christmas eve myself, but that is only once a year. I feel inspired. But I'm afraid my oven maximum is only 300 degrees.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chausiubao In reply to Belilmalebridia [2006-11-15 08:16:54 +0000 UTC]

oh. Thats not very high at all. Unless you're talking about 300 C, in which case it's probably most definitely high enough.

You could always deep fry or pan fry bread, or steam it, or microwave it, or cook it in a rice cooker.

Those are all valid bread making possibilities, but for the lower temperatures created inside rice cookers and maybe microwaves certain things might need to be done to make sure the bread is tasty.

Belilmalebridia In reply to Chausiubao [2006-11-15 12:12:31 +0000 UTC]

I guess my 300 C oven is going to be enough then

You've been busy! nice additions to gallery. Your good with grafite pencils . Im so used to mechanical pencils but can work with grafite. Wish they had more vaules for mechanical pencils. Darkest lid I can find is 2B.

Chausiubao In reply to ROH619 [2006-02-02 20:58:24 +0000 UTC]

thats 0.5 right? I saw at a japanese stationary store some varying softnesses for mechanical pencil lead. Maybe you can find that sort of thing.

ROH619 In reply to Chausiubao [2006-02-03 07:26:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah 0.5 is what Im using. Japanese sationary store? That sounds rare to find. I should look into it.

Chausiubao In reply to ROH619 [2006-02-03 22:27:24 +0000 UTC]

just go for the graphite ^^

its probably more expensive but for variety of lines and such, its beautiful. Pen and Ink is the only medium i like more then graphite, but then i like oil pastels too
