If all goes well I should be able to start actively drawing again within the next few weeks.

Seems like it had an interesting fauna, I'll have to do a blog post about it one day. I'm especially interested in reconstructing Hoplitomeryx.

Honestly, I think that Garganornis is the probably most interesting species of the Island.

I shall call it "Father Goose"! It would be interesting to do a side-by-side of it with the South Island Goose (Cnemiornis calcitrans). There's also the giant hedgehog Deinogalerix from Gargano.

lol
Yeah, it would definietly be interesting. If you would make a chart, you could also add one Moa-Nalo species.
I know Deinogalerix, and I absolutely love it.

Well since Easter is coming up I was gonna work on a giant Piocene rabbit, and for the end of the month I have some tapirs in honor of World Tapir Day.

Nuralagus. Tapirus polkensis and possibly T. veroensis.

Because there is more literature and skeletal material available for me to do complete reconstructions for the two, while the most I could do for T. augustus would be a head reconstruction (which I'm considering doing).

It lived in Eocene Death Valley. I haven't seen a fossil of it.

You'll have to scroll down a little. You'll find plenty of mammals you've probably haven't heard of before.
