Yes, I think it's a great world. I don't plan on reading the Merlin books though, I think the first 5 will suit me just fine. I only have "The Courts of Chaos" to finish. I will say that the cover art makes me laugh:

Really? I know there's some crap in there, some unnecessary retconning and Merlin's kind of an idiot. However there is some good stuff too. Little more Martin, little more Random, little more Benedict and some new characters; like Luke, who's awesome, also Jasra, Mandor Julia and Jurt. They're fun. It's a mixed bag.
