So I've read that electing BO president after only 11 months in his previous job is like promoting a McD's fry cook to CEO. FryCook:US Senator::CEO:US president? Maybe, if we were interested in being logically sound...or perhaps fair, it would be more like promoting the VP of marketing to CEO? Maybe? Or fry cook to cashier? Left field? Okay. Fine. Maybe fry cook to CEO is a stretch...but VP of marketing? Nah. Maybe regional manager. A newly appointed regional manager. The dude simply hadn't clocked enough hours to justify him being a plausible candidate for the President of the United States. I think his presidency is turning out to be one of those proof/pudding sitchiations. Actually, I've felt kinda bad for him here lately. I've noticed that there seem to be fewer and fewer people in his corner all the time. I'm starting to think he was set up from the beginning to be a fall guy for a lot of risky ideas.

But as for the Palin in '12 remark... thinking about recanting on that one. She's been rubbing me the wrong way lately. I detect the faint taste of shoe leather in my mouth.
