I'm Isabelle, currently a 2nd year Sheridan Animation student gunning to break into the animation industry as either a character designer, a 2D animator, or a storyboard artist (maybe even as a director one day??)
I also have an interest in making my own comics, with one already published! (self-published, of course)
I've got many ideas up my sleeves that are just dying to be put on paper and am currently planning multiple projects across media, from art videos to webcomics!

Oh man your art is really cool! Many of your characters have very dynamic poses. Would you have any tips to get more comfortable with poses?

One thing that I always recommend is regular figure drawing sessions. It forces you to draw a lot of different poses in a short amount of time, which makes it probably the fastest way to get better too!
I know there aren't a lot of real life figure drawing sessions around, but online ones like on youtube are just as effective!
Besides that, I know senshistock on deviantart has a lot of good dynamic pose references! If it's just to practice or to help you understand the pose, tracing is good.
And last but not least, I've found that keeping a file on your computer to store references is also super useful. Just by immersing yourself in drawings and media of the thing you want to draw will likely give your brain loads of ideas you wouldn't have thought of on your own.

Practice practice practice! (disappointing, I know.) Surround yourself with art you love. Get out of your comfort zone from time to time and try something new! It's a slow process, but the difference will be there if you keep at it (doing those "draw this again" memes are especially effective at motivating me)
