AU Personality:
He acts quite similar to the England everyone knows and loves. However, there are some tweaks... He's a demon so he's quite cocky, and with often use any given chance to intimidate his foes. He has an odd obsession for blood, although he hides it well when he's around others. Although he may seem confident, he quite often feels alone due to no-one wanting to be his friend. On another note, he can be extremely flirtatious, once you get past his awkwardness when it comes to romance(If he's unsure of how he or the other party feels). However, that awkwardness returns when it gets to one of *Ahem!* those situations...
Oh, and one more thing... HE'S A SEME.

Appearence
Arthur has a strong, yet stocky build. He's about 5'11 in height and weighs roughly 210 lbs, a large portion of that weight being his wings. His hair and his eyes are blood red. He often wears black leather, or generally anything black and red. However, you may catch him wearing white and blue at some times, as well.

The hell...? England?
He'll often get confused if you call him England. He's a demon whose particular area of "residence" is England, and thus, he's used to other demons jokingly calling him this. So you can get away with calling him "England", but he'll either think you're looney, or that you're trying to make fun of him.
Oh, hello, Mr. Kirkland. I am Arthur.
Hell connects to several different dimensions as it is a vast area. Thus, Arthur is used to seeing a variation of himself every now and then, and it doesn't come as much of a surprise to him.
Don't touch me!
Arthur often doesn't feel comfortable with people touching him, unless he initiates it. Especially when it's a large amount of contact, like a hug. It's a good sign that you're on his good side if he allows you this kind of contact without saying anything. But even if he likes you, it's not often he'll respond in a positive way to it.
My food isn't that bad!
Arthur does suck at cooking, but it's just because he has very little experience doing so. If you let him cook whatever, he'll most likely undercook or burn it, or end up making something that is utterly disgusting and unrecognizable as any respectable meal. However, if he's given a recipe, or if someone is cooking with him, it's nowhere near as bad because of the help.
D-don't look at me!!
Sometimes, Arthur gets soul-hungry and attacks humans for their souls. And what do we know about brute force? It's really messy. If he's confronted by a trusted friend or crush while all covered in blood and what-not, he will often run, try to cover himself, or yell for them to look away, as he is very ashamed of his brute-like side.
I don't need your help. Idiot.
Arthur is a VERY prideful demon, so he'll never admit when he needs help. Others will have to be forcefully eager to help should they want to by-pass this. It would annoy him, but he would appeciate it(even if he won't admit so).
Leave me alone...
When Arthur is really upset about something, it's easy to tell, and that's why he often goes off on his own when this happens. He doesn't like his weakness to be seen. However, if he is left by himself too long, the situation may get worse.
G-get that thing away from me!
Arthur's only weakness is holy objects. Basically, his demonic powers can be neutralized by using anything holy. If he drinks holy water, he'll be rendered human(even his wings, horns and tail are gone) until it works its way out of his system. It's similar with crosses. If one is touching him, he temporarily loses his ability to use his demonic powers until it's out of contact.

Arthur is really touchy about the subject of his dead lover, who is only known by "Emily". All that's known about her so far is that she was his lover when he was a human, and he sold his soul to save her, which inevitably resulted in him becoming a demon. Something terrible happened to her, though, and only those who he trusts (If you're in the lover, family, or best friend area in relations he trusts you) will he tell about it.

Arthur may be a seme, but as I've stated before, the matter is negotiable. If the other party is able to take away his demon abilities, or simply get him to like it, he will eventually submit. Note that he won't do this often though, seeing as he's careful of who he lets his guard down around.
Weak? Pretty boy? If only you knew...
Arthur doesn't look like much with his inhuman good looks, but he's a lot more than most demons give him credit for. With the combined strength of two demons, he's easily one of the most powerful demons in Hell. Thus, he finds it amusing when others underestimate him.
Signing the Contract
Arthur's contract consists of mainly a reitteration of the wish made by the mortal, and it describes the bond made between the human and Arthur. Basically, the human is agreeing to pay the cost of his/her own soul in order to have the wish granted. The time span after the wish is granted to the time when the soul is collected is always one year, unless the wish is to live beyond that. When the human signs the contract, they are marked somewhere on their body with Arthur's mark, which is this:
Spells, Summoning, and Other Magic
Arthur knows an overwhelming amount of magic, and isn't afraid to show it. He often uses quick spells in every-day life, but from time to time, he'll use one that requires a little concentration. Very rarely does he use spells that require a large amount of power, because spells powerful enough to kill a human are enough to render a demon unconscious, which is not good in the heat of a fight.
Arthur's magic includes two main elements; fire and darkness. When he was just a weak demon, he only had darkness, but inherited fire when he killed the powerful demon that had been bullying him. Due to having the two elements, he often mixes them, like black flames, or summoned animals made of flame.
Essentially, the fire element deals with anything and everything fire, obviously. However, the darkness element is for blinding/deafening opponents, summons, transformations, or just making things darker. Believe it or not, the fire element is actually preferred, as the spells are better for attacking, rather than defense. The fire element also has a unique ability to teleport objects and living beings without harm, should Arthur wish it that way.
Compatibility, Courtship, and Mating
Demons compatibility is generally similar to human compatibility, but with a few quirks. Obviously two hot-headed, dominant, my-way-or-the-highway types wouldn't get along in a love venture. That part we all know. However, often in demon society, the demons are not split up male/female. Almost all demons are pansexual. However, only a male and female may reproduce. Instead of gender separation, demons are split by dominant/submissive. Most dominant types are easy to pick out, as they're not easily pushed around, and most of the time, they're males. However, the submissive type is a lot different, as they can often make themselves appear submissive.
Demon courtship, however, is another story all-together. When demons get together, they often initiate a close bond by feeling each-other's wings. It's a sign of respect and trust. From there, it's similar to human courtship. Though when things get really sticky is when a pair decides to mate and officially bind themselves to one another. When a demon wants to do this, they will touch the other demon's tail. However, if only one person in the pair is a demon, the demon will immediately and instinctively assume that their lover wishes to bind to them in this way. A note; demons are extremely angered and offended when someone other than their lover touches their tail without permission.
The mating process, however, is the most complex part. Of course, demons can go out and have a fling without this procedure being done, but that's usually just heartless sex. This ritual only has to be performed once to permanently link the demon to their lover.
First, after one demon has initiated to the other that they want to mate, the dominant demon will wind his/her tail around the submissive's. If the submissive is not a demon, or if the dominant is not a demon, the partner that is the demon will simply wind their tail around their lover's torso. From there, once again, it's similar to human mating, however, some time during the endeavor, the dominant must bite the neck of the submissive and break the skin, then the submissive must do the same thing to the dominant. When both partners have bitten the other, a link is made that makes them completely tied to one another, body and soul. This link allows them to feel when their partner is upset, know when they're in pain, and also helps them keep a good mood generally when their lover is around. The most interesting thing is that the link also amplifies the demons' powers when their partner wishes it. It's almost like sharing souls.

Itβs a kink trope based in power dynamics, where the characters haveΒ definedΒ biological roles. They need to meet and mate, often with the Omega going in heat or having a heat cycle and needing to mate with his/her Alpha to appease it. "hey~ you shouldn't be roaming the streets at night. there's danger when the streets are dark, ja?~" she purred, not realizing the other was a demon himself
