Just swell. Bruce, you beautifully manage what so many can't manage at all--spot-on characterization. Elsa, yum.

Wow! The level of detail you get with your artwork is amazing! I'm curious, never having worked with it myself, what attracts you to using velvet as your canvas?

Please email me at bruce@velvetgeek.com if you are interested in a commissioned piece. Sorry it took me a while to reply. I have my own website now, so I haven't been posting here as much.

sorry if you get asked this alot, but what kind of velvet do you use and where do you get it?
π: 0 β©: 1
BruceWhite In reply to strangenotes [2011-01-06 03:49:51 +0000 UTC]
Technically, it's "velveteen", and I get it from a fabric store. Actual "plush velvet" is impossible to paint on because the pile is too high.

I've been poking in to see how much attention you got
I knew you deserved it.
I'm so happy that it occurred to me to suggest that for a DD
It makes me happy to see what came of it.
