I finally finished your Chess Fairy Critique.Β
Thinking back, I hope I didn't make you super unhappy with all of that.
We seem to be two guys in similar frustrating positions, and, well, I feel like I just got out of mine at last yesterday, believe it or not, and after years of suffering, I know how much I want someone like you to be able to get out of yours. I felt like I could help, so I went at it with a passion.
Perhaps, too much passion.

Oh man I saw the Note you sent me.
When you told me you had a story written, with chapters and stuff, I thought all this time you mean literature. I'll still go through it now, but it will be harder to put together than I thought.
EDIT: I've read it. It was easier than I thought.

I almost forgot to leave the piece of character making advice I said I'd leave in that Note.
This is what I think I have discovered:
If you want to make secondary characters, and even third rate background characters developed better, what you should try is to go through each one, one at a time, and ask yourself...
Every character is the main character of their own life's story. So ask yourself what it would be like it you were writing an entire story, or this entire story, about that character? If you were, how would you explain to someone what that story was about? Like, usually, for this purpose you'd want a story to have a good premise to serve as the hook. What would be the premise of that character's story?
This is helping me immensely in making my story.

BTW, hereβs another story with Shadow in it. Itβs funnier
Monster Empire: Shadows of Love Version 2!The Monster Empire and the Rainbow Warriors -
Episode 10:
The Shadows of Love
By
Norris Vaughn III
Aboard the Father-ship, in the darkness of its long halls, a door slid open to reveal absolute blackness. From the darkness emerged two large, shining triangular eyes that pierced through it with an eerie red glow. A large darken mass oozed through the doorway into the hall before it merged into the shadows and disappeared. Within an instant, the mass appeared far on the other side of the ship and at the doors of the bridge. It took a more humanoid shape before stepping into the bridge for the meeting with King Wiretox.
From his over-shadowed throne, Wiretoxβs large green eyes looked over to his right to see one of his greatest warriors and generals entering the bridge.
βAh, Shadow old boy, it has been quite a while, has it not?β the King asked.
In a scruffy and rough voice reminiscent of Clint Eastwood of human fame, this General Shadow replied to his King, βIt is
