Awesome. As long as prices haven't changed, then a full booth should be $40, but that'll be split between 3 people hopefully, so $13.34?
Also, someone mentioned that you have to show all the artwork you want to sell when applying for the booth. I figured I'd try to apply, and mention that there will be 2 other people at the table. No one has mentioned to me when AA registration might start, but I'm still looking into a lot of stuff on it, so I figured I'd keep you updated.

Some of the bigger conventions are actually starting to take a stand against it. ACEN and Ohayocon[?] have specific rules mentioning that all artwork must be at least 70% original and only up to 30% fan related.
Bigger conventions (like Otakon) pull in over 25,000 attendees while Animazement has only pulled in about 10,000 or so in the last two years... just to give a comparison, but I'm sure some fan art might still be alright. Like I said, I'm looking further into the rules... and even if people don't follow the rules, it was mentioned that people who don't follow their bolded rules will be kicked out of the Artist Alley... so if it's on their website (which isn't updated yet), then it's a No-Go. :<

Yes, but "taking a stand" means nothing. Animazement allows NO fanart, but this stopped nobody. Even though selling fanart is not only illegal, but fanart itself is illegal.
In fact, most if not all the artists did fanart last year. If you are uncomfortable with me being a blockhead and the constant fighting the power that must go on per day to make it complete then i'll totally buy myself a table, no harm done.
Like I said though, I'll mostly be doing charms and cellphone straps in the shapes of weeaboo things. Like strawberries lol.

I wasn't trying to be mean, like I said, I haven't been able to see Animzement's rules, so I did not know that they allowed NO fanart, but yet, did not enforce the rule.
Yet again, I did not know that fanart itself was illegal. I knew that there was a law recently trying to make it illegal, but I did not know that it was passed. o__o

And lol, I think you'll have cute things, and cute is what tends to sell! I was thinking of doing some charms (along with some prints), but I don't want to invade on what would be your business. So, if I do any crafty things, I might make some pouches and stuff with my sewing powers.
