Also, make sure that the times you set aside for drawing balance out with your school life.  It's important to keep up with your studies as a supplement to artistic ability and to have a well-rounded expertise.  (Believe it or not, I use quite a bit of mathematics and a little inspiration from science to draw some of my work.  ^^'  English helps for story ideas and writing along with History while other subjects focused on culture and such help to give ideas about characterization.  )

Well, I'm not really a master myself, but I could try. o.o Do you have an idea for the main plot at least? And how much time can you spare for drawing? (I'm a slow drawer myself, so I try to take at least 3-5 hours for drafting pages and such.)

An alternate Universe where the Tigeroids act as the Saiyans' descendants,-tails and all-and the Dragonoids are the remnants of the Planet Trade Organization.

The Tigeroids escape their home world in an attempt to flee from the Dragonoid empire in secret. Unfortunately, their adversaries find out before all of them leave and start hunting them one by one, keeping the children as slaves. Some of them survive the manslaughter and manage to escape to Earth, on the look out for Lost Tai Chi characters due to their stone that contained them being ground into pieces.

 On the lookout for the Tai Chi, the descendants of the Tigeroids continue to search for the lost characters, remaining vigilant because their mortal enemies are also searching for them.

Rai, a boy unaware of the history of his people, is dragged into the war when a Dragonoid comes to assassinate both he and his mother,, awakening his powers when his rage spins out of control like an untamed shrew. Unaware that he bears the fire character, he uses it to attempt burning the assassin to a crisp and without success. I think I'll leave the rest of the comic to you, if you don't mind. I might send in the rest of the plot when summer rolls ahead so I don't have to stress out about studying for the ACP's in two weeks.

As for my drawing style, I use the same principals, but with a smidge more practice, I'll have the lingo down soon enough.

For the drafting sketches, I takes me fifty minutes to an hour to get done with more than one person.

LOL, what do you mean by leaving the rest of the comic to me?  ^^'  This is your story, so I think you should be the one to decide how it'll turn out in order to give it your unique flavor.  xD  And it sounds that you're a bit fast in drawing, so I guess it should be okay.  What you need now is the motivation and patience for sitting down and generating pages.  x3x  The plot so far sounds somewhat like the original Tai Chi Chasers story, but it should be okay, depending on how you choose to portray it.  o.o  We could talk about it through messaging as soon as you have time after your APs.

I hope. In the morning, I'm going to try the drafting. My mom won't stop breathing down my throat about lack of sleep when she knows that my sleeping pattern is as jacked up as the hours of a convenience store.

Trust me, my sleeping habits are rather....difficult to tame.

Well, how long of a story do you plan to make this first?  o.o  Also, it'll be a good idea to get the storyline for the first chapter out first before drawing (you can write it in script form) and then once that's good, make a name (a rough draft) of the manga (it doesn't have to be good; just enough to know how you want to place the frames, characters, etc. on the pages.  You can look up Bakuman or One-Punch Man - Name version for reference).  If both of those are okay, then you should be ready for the final draft.    Do you have any manga paper?  Since this is more of a derivitive work, you probably won't need the official materials and could just print out a reference with the borders and panel guidelines so you can just place a clean piece of paper over it and draw that way (B4 paper size should be good).  (A clipboard should be good for keeping them together and make sure to place the drawing at about a 45 degree angle so you won't have too much strain on your back in bending over to draw and you'll have more energy that way.)

Also, you may want to try to at least get the average 7.5 hours of sleep per day since studies show that the less sleep you have, the less your prefrontal lobe or hippocampus would work in making logical decisions or processing memories and it's good to make sure that you have the right amount of stamina for your work anyways.  x3x

I do try, it's just that I wake up at random times at night. This morning I woke up at 4:37 A.M., which is actually somewhat decent.

But for my stories, I type them onto a computer and then write it in paper. But my handwriting is pretty much deplorable.

It's possible that you're having insomnia due to stress. o.o Maybe you should try exercising more often so then it'll help in inducing longer sleep.

That's okay about your hamdwriting. I normally write in cursive and usually no one can read my handwriting at all. x3x Though you might want to put it in type-form for the final draft so it'll be easier for everyone to read.

No, I don't have insomnia. I sleep for nine hours straight. And Tou-san fried my printer, so I can't print anything out. And my laptop is at the shop getting fixed, so I can't write anything either.

I'm using my tablet to talk to you, so my fingers are rapidly flitting across the screen.

I see. Then it all comes down to discipline and doing what you can with the materials you have so far. o.o I took a look at your gallery and it seems that you have a pretty good idea on human proportions, though it may need some more work. You can check out references online for basic human proportions and/or check out how to manga books (Mark Crilley is pretty good and one other one with a squirrel on it, I forgot the title.) Meanwhile, you can at least hammer out a complete set of character deaigns that lists the personality, background, likes/dislikes, etc. of each person and try to make ach one as unique and believable as possible.
