Oh my exams went quite alright..passed everything with a decent enough score..but still not very happy..not a Bs student u know..this yr im aiming for the As My business papers went much better, got invited into studying Honours in commerce as well so im quite stoked about that I'm sure your exams would have gone well, right? such a smart button, how cud it not! hope it went how u wanted it to

Professional Education is relatively free of corruption and no I've been living in India and it is a damn sexy thing, I caught a couple drooling over it while I was buyin meds the other day but in any case, I dont need the bike to impress

Professional Education = studying to be a professional. i.e. Lawyer, Doctor, Accountant, Engineer, etc.

I WAS studying law, dropped out, got into Accountancy.

Wow why do you need to learn how to be a professional "accountant"..over here we graduate and just start working straight away. Guess we have to learn to be professionals by ourselves hehe

I'm almost done with my commerce degree...just gotta start honours in commerce now, can you imagine? honours in accounting? I'll be doing papers like accounting and its history and accounting and the environment! exciting shit

Well, we're called Chartered Accountants here, and in order to be able to Audit and provide allied services you need be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI. For that you need to work with a practicing Chartered Accountant for 3 and a half years and clear two sets of exams in the meantime. Papers like Taxation, Corporate Laws, Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, Costing, etc. Its recognized as a post-graduate degree by most institutions. And we DO have to learn everything by ourselves, and work too.

Oh we have NZICA here which is pretty much like your ICAI, New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. But for us, we need to study for 4 years and then work for two years,clear a bunch of CA papers and then we're officially CA's. But, I don't think it's recognised as a postgrad qualification here..normally after doing a 3yr undergrad alot of students have to do a 1yr long post grad to meet NZICAs 4 year study requirement! it's a conspiracy I tell you, just getting the students to pay more fees to the university and government so that NZICA and get more money from the Govt, if they are getting money. I'm just randomly speculating conspiracy theories.

Uhh..Had my first exam yesterday, realised afterwards that I'm real stupid cuz i made soooo many mistakes and i realised while on my way home in the car..listening to Obama's victory speech!! hahaha Im like omgosh noooooooooooooooooooooooo! and my friend dropping me home is like wow it's just a speech xD

Stopped with admin law for now, gonna start Criminal law 'cause the exam is in 4 days, you'd think it'd be easy but the marking is insanely hard!!! ugh
