# About me
I'm a guy who has a lot of interests and talents. I one day want to use my skills to become an animator. I've had a desire to use my art skills to tell stories, and I feel like that field is a perfect fit.# Comments

Thank you! Still on a bit of a hiatus. But then again, when you are working on multiple projects at the same time, as well as planning on starting a youtube channel to post some of my work, you don't exactly have time to post content frequently. Especially when you are working on an animated short film.Β

Thank you so much for taking a look at my Lady of the lake, I'm so happy that she appealed to you. Do you happen to also be a fan of the Witcher games/universe like me?
You're welcome to check out more of my work if you like or if you're an avid art lover like me you can take a peek at all the art features I make to showcase other artists' art.
Have a great and inspired day and keep being awesome!

Sure thing.Β
And yeah, I am a fan of The Witcher games/universe. I started reading the books recently (Netflix is making their own adaptation, and with CD Project Red seemingly done with the franchise for now and them currently focused on Cyberpunk 2077, I figured it was time to start reading the original source material).
I like your take on The Lady of the Lake. I aspire to have that kind of skills as a digital artist someday (my digital art stuff is a bit more cartoon/animation influenced, not surprising because I'm studying to become an animator).

I agree! The show sounds so exciting, I can't wait to see the cast. It's a bit disappointing that there won't be more witcher games from CDPR but I still have the books to read, too.Β
Oh, you are? Animation is super interesting actually, and I've heard that animators often find it easier to then do regular drawings since they consider a lot more info during the animating process.

Hey, sorry it took me awhile to respond. The last few days where kinda busy for me.Β
It kinda depends on what kind of animation you are doing and how complex the character designs are if it would be considered it being easier than just normal drawing. Not to mention how many frames your animation has in a single second. 24 frames per second is the standard for 2D animation, which is what I do, but sometimes, especially with TV animation, there's about twelve drawings per second. Disney movies from the 90's would typically have 24 drawings per second.Β
But the truth is it depends on the skills you have as an artist may depend if it would be considered hard or easy. Animating a character like Finn from Adventure Time would be easy because of how simple his design is, meanwhile a character from say, a Miyazaki movie might be harder to animate not only because said character would have more detail, but also because said character's would be more realistic. On top of that, while studying drawings, people may use observational references that are often just from still images to get the details and anatomy right, while animators have to go through the trouble of having to study how anything in the real world would move or walk to get it right i their animation (Hell, a bunch of the animators who worked on Toy Story tapped their feet to wooden boards and tried walking around to see how the green amy men toys from that movie would movie around).Β
So, didn't quite mean to have my response be long, but my point is that animation is a lot harder than it sounds. But most with being that takes a LOOOOOOOOOONG time to work on, and is kinda labor heavy. There's a good reason why animation is often, if not always a collaborative effort. It could take an entire day for for just one person to do just a few seconds of animation, and at LEAST a week for a full minute. But despite that it's something I love and passionate about, especially drawing all day long is something I do pretty often. And that being a professional career would be a dream come true.Β
But don't get me started on 3D animation, because OH BOY! That's another beast entirely!Β
