Hi, I were wondering something, and I hope you can help me
I got a mac book pro for christmas present and I really want to have SAI on it, I just don't know how to get it on there :/
I tried something called crossover, but I can't get the trial go away(I have already bought sai some time ago), and I can't open my old SAI drawing files that I transferred from my old computer

Um, hi! This comment, like so many of your other comments, is asking a question about SAI. I downloaded Crossover, and I downloaded Sai from your blog right after that. I tried to open SAI with it, but it just opened the window that says To get started, insert software... And things like that. Then I tried to download Photoshop 6, and the installation failed. I don't want to be a bother, but could you please tell me what to do with this? I don't even know what it means to get a folder for crossover that will act as a cd, as it's been telling me to do!

My guess is this: instead of using a folder and setting it up like a CD, use the "use file" option instead. This way, you can browse for an .exe file (Windows file).

Ugh, I'm having an issue with Sai that I haven't seen anyone post anything about yet. I got it installed and working and everything but it won't draw anything! I selected a color (so it's not white

Hmm.. what is the setting on the brush you are using? It sounds dumb, but make sure the brush has a diameter. If that doesn't work, I would install this version of SAI/CrossOver:

I can't promise this will fix it, but at least we'll be using the same version. I do know that one of SAIs I had previously had an issue.. I finally figured out which one it was, so the link above is current and correct.

Sorry to bother you about it, but the pressure tool isn't working for me. I don't have a tablet and I found I can do most things with just my trackpad (I use a Mac laptop OSX 10) but for some reason the pressure won't work. I was wondering if you could help me with this please.

Hi! You are no bother at all, friend. I have, unfortunately, not found a way to restore sensitivity. I have actually updated the blog with the most current version of CrossOver, and even that didn't fix the issue. There must be some sort of incompatibility between the two softwares.. I am no programmer. If you know one, perhaps we could collaborate on a possible fix.

Sorry to bother you but in SAI, it's really slow and I got my iMac exactly 4 days ago and this is the first thing I've installed. I don't know why it's insanely laggy. Please help.

Have you tried again recently? Have you restarted your Mac? I did notice that today, when I installed a newer version of CrossOver, my Mac was also very slow. I restarted my computer and that seemed to fix the issue.
I only restart about once every three to six months, so perhaps that's why mine was slow.

Also, does your Mac have an Intel processor? SAI only works will Intel-based Macs.

I just found your blog about getting Sai for Mac, I've been looking all over the internet with a solution to my problem, I have yet to find it.
Whenever I try to load Sai through CrossOver, CrossOver just closes out, it won't open Sai at all. I'm not sure what the problem is..
I have a MacBook Pro and using OS X version 10.6.4.

Have you tried reinstalling CrossOver? Also, have you opened CrossOver on its own before? You must set up a bottle within CrossOver before opening a program with it.
