Ahhh yes, sweet Caravaggio. Thank you, thank you!
I hope you are feeling better.... However, illness seems to have sparked some poetic gems.
Look forward to catching up again soon.

say no more, say no more - glad you liked it
i am feeling much, much better - i can think clearly now - have just discovered a new poet - but i will share him with you when i can point at lines and we can marvel together
we shall catch up, and then some, soon enough - so take care and here's hoping the muse is with you as well

Jensen, I love your style. Sometimes, youβre a bit too ambiguous. But I enjoy your insights into the human condition. If Bill Hicks could write poetry...

'Too' almost implies a negative...
i agree, there is a fine line between ambiguity and actually being unclear - let's hope its not the latter, as the former is almost a linchpin of the art form
The idea of poetry (dependent on genre of course) is not to play all your cards, to be too obvious and clichΓ©, but instead allow the brain to reveal the intention to the reader at the right moment - like the gradual completion of a puzzle - a great many poems come to mean very many different things each time we read them, throughout our lives. new eyes, new hearts and minds to translate the intention. the idea's Foucault promotes. Hence dusty tombs for each new generation that seek to unlock Dante or Old T.Sβ¦
with a poem we leave avenues open for the reader - mean two things with one statement... not opposing sentiment of course... rather a divergence of the simple βnarrative meaningβ into a cryptic/philosophical significance, a layer on top that holds the more difficult questions that a poet is asking his audience to consider; those questions that are not, at first, apparent to the reader but absorbed through reflection.
Thanks for the comment.

your very good in your writing
but you hear that quite to much
so what would you do if I said I thought your work was stupid or ignorant?
you, of course, would know I was lying

I wanted to leave comments, to critique something, anything, but you leave me absolutely dumbfounded.
I have not seen such exquisite work in so long. I don't know whether to rip your head off with pure jealousy or ask you to marry me. The bottom line is this..
i love your work
