Hello! I really like your Meet the Artist page and all your art. It's so unique and stylized. Congrats on your feature. I would only suggest for you to create more defined coloring on some on the faces/clothes that you draw. IDK your art already looks amazing the way it is and I guess its just a suggestion. Holy Virgin Mary! You have been here for 9 years. 9 YEARS with such a high quality art and yet your other numbers are so low (except the number of you deviations that is).
You, my friend, are the reason why I hate this damn page at times. I always need to click past piles and piles of generic pictures who get so much views simply because they have "adop" in the name or have somethinf in common with inflation (for the love of good, don't look it up, mature filter won't save you).
But I am not just here to complain, oh no. I am here to watch the hell out of your profile and your art and that is what I am going to do. You are one of the most deserving people I have come across in a long time, I must tell.

Although, I've created this page 9 years ago but started to really post my pieces when I got more or less confident with my art (cause I didn't want to post old trash I drew... and deleted those pieces that I've posted originally when I just got used to my 1st tablet).
I didn't get at first why my phone gone crazy on vibration from dA, but then I saw that I got featured and.... As always I don't know how to handle acceptance of my art so I almost fell a nosebleed (it didn't happen, don't worry). But I'm one of those people who're trying the best to maintain illustration as the main job overthought I'm so shy I have no idea how to promote myself so I got used to be unnoticed and mainly drawing for myself.

Hey, you remind me of myself. Despite the fact my DA account is 2 years old, I have been drawing for 6 years and created my account when I was comfortable enough ... but I still shared many of my not so good drawings.
I too don't really know how to promote myself. However, unlike you, I never thought of making money with drawing so I don't really mind just sitting here with little to no following.
I am quiet surprised to hear that you are shy. You have a pretty decked out front page and you are doing comissions. With this much flair, I feel like I am attending some major artist's exhibition who enjoys socializing.
I usually don't like digital art. I am a traditional artist but your art really charmed me. Mostly because I am unable to draw anything realistically to save my life, I always exagerate features and colours or just do something weird which spits on the laws of anatomy.
Yet, despite having realistic proportions, your art is still simplified a bit. There are almost no sharp lines, everything is so smooth, almost cartoony as far as the shading goes. It is an interesting style.

Well, by education I'm graphic designer, but I like to be illustrator more.
My page is just up for my personal comfort - I like to maintain an order in my surroundings.... even if they're digital XD
So when I'm getting noticed or/and approved I'm always really shy and flattered. I'm not used to it overthought it's my job... kinda... lately I'm more active as my husband's assistant and working on masks with him in his studio.

I'm only sketching traditionally (and I didn't do it for a longest time until I found out that I freaking love markers), mostly because I'm lazy slug and you don't have cancel button XD But seriously it's just easier for people to work with digital art nowadays - you don't need to ship stuff, you can print however you like, etc. Also being best budd with my PC and, as socially awkward as I am, I'm usually spending all day with my tablet and evening in some of my games... League of Legends most of the times (why I even bought 100+ games in Steam??? XD)

Anyhow, I get ya. I too don't really know what to think when people flatter me. It always sends me into a spiral of surprise and wonder. Then again, I probably have no business judging you. Compared to you I am just a little school boy who draws into his notebook. That's actually what I do, kinda. I rip a paper from my small notebook and just draw. I only take it beyond basic sketches and include colour, rendering and background with perspective. I guess you can imgaine the amazement when someone actually likes my pics from what I have read from you. It certainly is quite striking. One day you just sit and draw for yourselve and the next day you find out you have 20 new messages.
Well, I never saw digital art as easy. Maybe it is because I am not able to sit in front of a computer for too long so paper and pencil became my tools instead. Since I draw for myself I don't worry TOO much about errors. Sometimes, drawing some weird lines or choosing strange colours which can't be undone is part of the excitement and wonder.
I have always viewed digital art as being a bit sterile with the way you can fix mistakes easily which is why I always get excited when I find somebody with an interesting style like you. It actually makes me feel a bit sorry I never became literate when it came to my PC and digital work.
I am gamer as well though, don't you worry about that. However, I am a single-player guy mostly. You have even drawn some fan-art of one of my favourite game, I have noticed ...

Tips:
- If you want 16x16 icons, you can search in my gallery by using the media menu and adding ultramini to the name of the software/etc you are searching.

I really like your art style and kinda jelaous of it cause I can't bend my style anywhere far from semi-realistic, thanks to my teachers with theit "academic" drawing.

I'm trying, and yes - it's time consuming and getting on my nerves sometimes... but I have problem.
It's hard to describe, but when I do flat colors and thy to do shadows and highlights more graphic, to make picture more cartoony, I don't feel satisfied and my brain leads me to same blurred realistic routine.
Did you have same problem? How did you overcome it if you did?

when i was first getting used to cartoon styles was when i started doing a comic, i made a style for it and i ended up liking it more but if you feel not satisfied it is a mental thing, Just draw dumb things and sketches and dumb your style a bit, or try looking at other cartoonists that do put effort into shading and such but still look cartoony

Sorry for bugging you, but I think you'd like to know it - I've decided to paint without lines at all since it took me so long and.... how dumb I was for not trying it sooner. It's much quicker and also really relaxing. Plus, I love to paint skin fluctuation. Thanks for those conversation that we've had - it's motivated me to try and I love the result
