I mostly play a system my Dad and his old Navy buddies made up. It was originally based off of early D&D (don't remember which edition- 1st, I think), but enough of it's been modified that it's really no longer D&D. I have played real D&D, and for that I think I've mostly done 3.5. I have done some earlier editions (1st and 2nd) at gaming conventions too, which I think I prefer. There's just way too much to sort through to make up a character in 3.5, and in my opinion, they should have spent that time and effort making the combat system more realistic.

That's why a lot of my friends and I play Pathfinder instead. It's a simplified version of D&D. (a good share of us DO play 3.5, but its /not/ for beginners).

This one is PathfinderSRD, there is also Pathfinder Society, but I have yet to see a difference between the structure of the two.

I would. I actually want to try running one too, but between my campus being so spread out and never having enough spare time (to run it regularly, anyways), I'm probably out of luck. XP My goal is to try to see if I can get my gaming group at home together for a few sessions over Thanksgiving/Christmas break. I even have a campaign that's meant to be done in a day that I'm hoping to try w/them.

Yeah, you can do One Shots (one day practice campaigns).

Tabletop is a hard kind of game to organize. You have to work around personal schedules.

Uh...good question. Mostly because I've been on or waiting for the buses for half of the week (or so it feels XP). We do need to meet up sometime though. I'm still not sure what days and times are best. I've got an 8am and 2pm class Mon/Wed, and an 8am Tue/Thurs. Other than that, the only thing (besides homework) that I can think of is church sometime on Sunday (once I find one, anyways).

Ugh, 8am classes. Fun, no? At least you get most of the rest of the day free. I'm still trying to sort everything out, as far as when I do work and what now. It think now that I don't have to go get art supplies every day, I should have some free time. Short of eating and sleeping, I don't think I was actually in my dorm last week, between classes and waiting for the bus so could go get art supplies. Maybe the best thing to do is for one of us to contact the other when we learn when we'll have free time? Because right now, I'm not sure when my free time won't coincide with work I need to do.

Hehe..as good as it is for me, there are ACTUAL stalkers that do that. x.x I try to go for Angel Kitten every where. Kira Bree was my fursona before she got killed in a game, and then I had to find someone else. Angel Kitten fits me a lot more than Kira, but she's still one of my main characters. The main picture I use for her description and her/my icon was given permission by the artist which is cool! (check my siggy)

That's fine. I don't expect all to put picture of themselves up. I just do it because it's simpler for me that way.

Pfft. Poor Kris indeed. That was the one thing about HG/SS that I disliked- the absolutely terrible redesign of Kris. That was literally the first and only time since I've been able to play a girl that I haven't. And what confused me was why they thought they had to redesign her at all, but they didn't touch any of the other characters.
