Yep! I'm a hardcore Whedon-fan, so I kinda had a peripheral knowledge about it, but I never got around to watching it. Honestly, I only started because I finally caught upon the ninth season of "Supernatural" and I'm head-over-heels for Tahmoh Penikett. (That is a genuinely gorgeous specimen of a man!) And, yes, just another thing for us to bond over!
