Yup I got that :3
My mother came from Phonehong to study maths in Germany, went back when she had finished and met my dad who is from Luang Prabang.
My father was in France and in America.
The Family from my dad went from France to Germany and after I was born [in Vientiane] we followed.
Some siblings went to America :3
It worked somehow xD
I'm fluent in german and almost fluent in english and lao and I can also speak a little bit french /D
I'm a little bit confused but its okay I think… xD

And not only in Hamburg~
Also in Berlin, Duesseldorf and some other towns <3
We have a lot of meet ups here and are always contacting other Lao also in France.

I know that my dads family moved to France because of the VietnamWar…
But it was funny that a lot of Lao people in France said "Oh, that's Sa-Ngaths daughter!"
It was somewhat shocking but also here in Hamburg.
I got the feeling that Lao people always know everyone from everywhere…
I also want to visit America again :3

Vietnam War was quite… difficult to handle for my dad.
It is still a very touchy subject for him…

On animexx.de someone wrote me a mail because he saw my Cosplay and he was Laotian too oO
That was kinda creepy first but then he said that he lives near me oO
That creeped the wits out of me D:
We met each other later and ya…

My dad too. Not much for my mom. Which is why I rarely draw anything relating to the war. Or sometimes when drawing the post-1975 flag of Laos :/ I like to include the previous flag too. Yep.
