# About me
My name is Allan Barbeau, I am a French illustrator & portrait painter but must of all, I am a Stylographiste or say otherwise, a ballpoint pen artist. All my work done with ballpoint pen is made to show what can be done with those pen and make everybody realize that it can be an artistic medium as any other tool made for art.I did write a book about how to draw with ballpoint pen as a art tool. The French version is available at www.thebookedition.com/l-art-d… , the English version is in translation state. The English version is there as well.

Thanks. You start with pink from BIC. It's not a fusia kind of pink. Than, yellow, a bit of brown and black where it's needed !!

Hi Allan! I love all your drawings, they're all extremely cool. Your YouTube video on Ballpoint pen drawing was really helpful, by the way. I was going to ask you, what colors do you use to get skin color? Do you mix colors or do you have a skin color ballpoint pen? Sorry, that's a lot of questions, I'm just curious because your one of my favorite artists, and I really want to get better at ballpoint pen. Thanks!
