Your page really puts me down. Not because I feel inferior or think you're terrible. Nothing like that.
It's because I would have thought your page would be flowing with positive comments and have 100k plus page views.
It saddens me to see people with little to no talent doing anime fanart generating over 150k plus views. It makes me sick. As well as makes me dislike society and not want to be a part of it anymore. I have chosen to take the path of realism like you, except color and I prefer the hard brush. When will this overrated anime era end? When will artists like you and I get the recognition we deserve?

Haha, thank you. I think my art is more likely to be appreciated by older people, not teenagers which I believe is the main audience for forums like this. Anime is extremely popular, not just here but practically any forums out there. I have a much bigger following on youTube with my videos but nothing compared to artist that focus primarily on anime art.
But you know, it's really doesn't matter, art is a lifestyle for me, and I do it really for myself. It's great to share and have people follow it but ultimately it's about me getting better in my art. I suppose I can do anime art and get a larger following but that's not what I want to do as an artist. So don't get discouraged about what you do ( I like your paintings by the way, my kind of subect, haha), it's about you and your art, and nothing else.

Thanks nikgrid. Most of the settings are the default settings. As for the airbrush, it's very low at 25% opacity and flow.
In some of my videos, I do have more in depth step by step narrations on them.
