Everything's going well for me and my family. To be honest, it's been over a month since I last went outside, so I don't mind being in containment lol My parents go shopping and one of them has to go to work. So I try to be very careful. But in France, many people don't care about the virus and it's very worrying. I hope too that it will not last too long.

it's sad to hear indeed hopefully the situation in France won't be as bad as in Italy but fortunately there aren't so many deaths, apparently

well, in Poland the number of those infected rises quite significantly on daily basis, right now it's about 500; but the number of deaths is really low, single-number digit for now; the situation here is not as bad as in the western Europe

Unfortunately, I think things can change. One day we may have more deaths than in Italy, but the problem is that the situation is very confused so I don't really know. I wish you were right on this point.

Perhaps this is only the beginning of the epidemic in your country, but I hope that your situation will not worsen as in France and especially in Italy. :/

Okay, that's good

Well, they have death percentage of about 10% which is like very high. In other words, one in every ten infected people dies.
So I don't think you can catch up to it. Italy has just gone way overboard with irresponsible behavior.
Your numbers, on the other hand, may be high but you don't have as high mortality rate, so you have a chance to be fine.
I guess Spain is on really bad track though. And UK probably too.

Well, the number of infected and dead will certainly rise but hopefully not as intensively as in some other countries. And hopefully this whole epidemic will not last so long. I hope it won't last until a medicine is discovered. Because it may take one year or even longer until then. It would be really terrible if things went on like that for so long. I kind of feel like during a wartime. Then, things are really turned upside down and you basically can't do much other than wait until it's over.

I guess you're right. That's why people shouldn't go out if it's not necessary. I feel sorry for people who live in countries like Spain.

I hope too that scientists will be able to develop medicines or a vaccine against this virus, even if it takes time. And as you say, it's like we're at war.

It's really a strange situation that we're living now. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. I think that will teach us a lesson for the future.

I can see it now, based on stats West of the Europe doesn't have it too good. Please, be careful with immigrants from Spain because their situation will likely become much worse. 
Eh, I guess I already miss the time before that whole pandemic. Like, everyone lives now in separation, there is no possibility of meeting people, going to public places (other than stores, that is) and it's all like... lifeless.

Yeah, there have been pandemics every now and then but probably none for over 100 years have been as bad as this one. That is, none spread so easily to every country on Earth. Not a bird flu, not even swine flu. The last such a bad one was spanish flu from 1918.

Hmm, by social sacrifices you mean staying isolated? I guess it's true, better that than risk health or even life due to exposition to potential virus. Well, just so you know, it's not like I'm bored because I always find stuff to do easily. But I kinda miss going to gym, library or a theatre... It feels like not exactly the same thing without those. Like, you feel something's missing.

This would be really bad. I hope the situation improves during summer as the temperature increases. I'm not sure if the virus is vulnerable to heat but if it does, it would be helpful.
But if it doesn't, then eh... let's be prepared for hard times.
