Favorite movies: Ayeyeye, my favorites are usually ones I kick myself for not having written them myself. So, like, the Prestige, Tangled, the Dark Knight, Lilo and Stitch, A Royal Affair (foreign Danish film, but damn gurl Mads Mikkelsen needs to stop before I cardiac).Favorite TV shows: This follows the same as the movies -- good enough that I want to stab myself in the face with a fork out of jealousy. Mostly animes at the moment: FMAB and SNK. Hannibal, Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, and the White Queen.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Random;usually fast paced with a crest by beat because I only like it if I can't write to it. The exception is if the chorus is catchy on its own or the lyrics match a character.
Favorite books: Aghhhh, Goodreads knows I can't answer that. I'm a lot into YA right now (although when I was a ya I read adult, so go figure). The plots are just better!
Favorite games: I love the mainstream ones. Mass Effect ruined my psyche, Assassin's Creed changed my world view, and Fallout 3... Had an amazing and pathetic influence on me. I'm unashamed.
Favorite gaming platform: I have an XBOX360 because I like the controls, I'm familiar with it, and upgrading my slow ass computer would cost all of my teeth.
Tools of the Trade: Sorry, I'm of the tech generation, so as pretty as quill and ink and typewriters are, my hands only work with a wave keyboard or my iPad
Other Interests: Being a devil's advocate... Kind of my job.

Hehe, ok, just a short comment: I was browsing for military running chants for som RP cards I'm making (yeah, just ignore that...) and I came across this quote:
"Stop taking life so seriously. You're not getting out alive anyway..."
I think that's pretty funny and I just had to share.

That's a great one! My grandpa always told me one from his days in the military: "If you find yourself in a fair fight, you've done something wrong."
Not sure how 'honor, integrity' this is, but if you define a 'fight' as 'trying to kill each other for our individual causes', it makes sense! I ain't dying because of some wearing-fancy-pants book that says to play 'fair'.Β

hehe, ok, that's pretty expressive! I like it. Maybe not so much a question of honour as just a warning of being well prepared? "Fair" is intensely overrated.

Haha, thanks! I thought it was only appropriate after the great creative job title you came up with.
I will be thankful the next time someone deserves a fish with very ill intention in their face. Maybe that can become our signature with Project Overlord. Flogging people with, like... small sharks or something. Their skin is like razors, and how fucking metal does flogging people with sharks sound!Β

Flogging people with sharks!
HAHAHAHA! Too damn AWESOME! I tremble in ΓREFRYGT at your awesome, creative majesty! (Γrefrygt = reverential terror)
Do you hear that cheering in the background? That's the entire Borgia family giving you the "Hell YEAH!".

Danish words have so much more relevance than English words. However we have a vast list of words to describe mild interest... well, actually, we have words that go up and down in their level of enthusiasm according to the speaker. "Cool" can be passive disinterest or it can be the most exciting thing you've seen all week. Not that I like more memorizing, but I'd like to have more distinct words so no one gets mixed up.
Hahahaha! Who is that? In the distance, running towards me? I think that's Cesere getting ready to give me a jumping high five. Β

Yes, yes it is! Actually, these last couple of days that have been kinda hard as you know, the shark-flogging has been a source of the occasional, mood-lifting giggle. So damn funny

Aniphine In reply to Liva-Wilborg [2014-09-15 08:24:27 +0000 UTC]
It's a double accomplishment for me then. Anything to brighten your spirits!
But think of the poor sharks, actually. Would they yelp like dogs? All I can visualize is them yelping like dogs.
Cesere would like that more probably.

LOL, interesting poll! I'm intrigued how none of us have claimed to give a sh** about the writing style.
Does that count as a writer thing?
π: 0 β©: 1
Aniphine In reply to Liva-Wilborg [2014-04-09 18:17:08 +0000 UTC]
Hahaha, it's certainly informative, no? The characters are absolutely crucial, but forget the writing style or message. Kind of proves what I was wondering though; readers value that human connection to the characters more than anything else. That's why very developed characters are the selling point. If their voice catches you, the you're sold.
I guess it could be a writer thing!

Wow... O_O So much I want to read and so little time... BUT I will get there eventually.
It's always so great to see someone who adores writing. Personally I haven't written much lately due to exams. That and I have no talent. However your writing is an inspiration to me.
Sooooo since I've fallen in love with your writing, I decided to follow you.
P.S. I notice that we have the same birthday. Just a random sidenote.

Haha, thank you! I can't tell you so encouraging it is to hear that.
I do so adore writing. I know just what you mean though; life comes at you fast! That's why I decided to make writing my primary focus. I'm a Freelance Writer, so all my schooling and 'work' is fully apart of my writing; which allows me to do it all the time! It's been a rickety balance sometimes, between the 'passion' and the 'money making" but I've never had a better time than since I've taken on the title.
Thank you! Although I have to disagree; I glanced at some of your writings on fanfic and you're really quite good! I'm not into any of your fandoms, but the style itself is solid.
AHHH I'm honored! Thank you for the watch! I hope to please, kindred birthday spirit. Β

Sorry for the delay, just got my hands on the latop.
Wow, that sounds hectic! D: I don't know how you balance it all!! Like the last story I wrote was for my English class, which was ages ago. :/ It's absolute torture, you know? Your mind just overflows with so many ideas and yet your fingers are unable relieve that pressure. DX It's why I can't wait 'till my exams are finished.
Why thank you so much! I'm really touched by that. I'm trying my best to improve though, so here's hoping.
Haha, don't worry you will! When I get a chance, I'll have a proper look at them.

I know just what you mean! I call that 'word vomit', where all the words are coming and you can only sit back and let them flow from your hands; to hell with grammar, spelling or anything else. Then once they're all down on the pages, I can sort through them. The hardest part is writing when you know its for an audience. I'm used to writing for me and then sharing, but now I have to write for others and try to meet my own standards with it. It's an unusual experience, which takes a lot of pushing forward to get through. Β Lots of deep breaths and then a plunge!
Mostly I love writing and it's the only thing I ever want to do. It's one of the only things I'm actually talented at, so I want to pursue it. Lucky for me, since writing is a feast or famine sort of career, I have a job as a farm hand that allows me to never be a starving artist. Which is another thing I love to do and am good at; tending to a farm.Β
The REALLY hard part will be getting my degree. Exams, geez, how do you balance it?
I really mean it, your writing is really good. I'm impressed!
Thanks!
