I majored in ceramics in highschool and then in collage. I never finished collage though I'm still going and taking a couple classes once ina while when i've the time.
I really like Raku. What about u? throwing or handbuilding?

Yeah, I've got a few little pieces to post. Might do that this evening, actually.
Wow, that's awesome. I'm hoping to get a BA in ceramics, but I might do Expanded Media instead, because that way I can work with clay and other media.
I love Raku. I've only done a handful of firings, but it's the best. You can't beat the rush Although, I will admit the smoke can be pretty harsh on asthmatic lungs, lol.
Handbuilding, definitely. I like throwing, but I'm pretty hopeless at it. I really love working figuratively and have been focusing more and more on that. How about you?

My declared major was Liberal Arts. I do theatre and ceramics with a little photography and writting on the side. covers it all.
Smoke! Dieing!! i'm actually asthmatic as well. totally understand.
I did throwing in highschool and was really good at it. sold some stuff at a consignment place during school but past that collage was all handbuilding really abstract kinda stuff. thats also where I was intro'ed to Raku. If I can get the money I want to learn more about making my own glazes.
Mom sold at fairs and shows and convensions but it was a hobbie for her. she loves learning new stuff and likes to learn from me as much as i like learning things from her. its really special to me that connection.
I'm going to have to say night for now but if you want to ask more questions and stuff I'll be on tommorrow. Take care k.
