Eh, it's hard to say...I draw here and there, still experimenting. I think I might be leaning towards anime art though. Just because it's more of a challenge for me to draw people instead of dragons, dinosaurs, etc. I also think learning to color my art digitally will be useful too, so I need to practice that as well.

That's cool, photoshop is a great program. I was only able to try out the demo, but it works wonders. Might take a while to get used to if you haven't tried digital painting before. 

I regularly use PaintTool.sai and ocassionally Paint.net, both of which together gives a similar feel to photoshop, though not having as many tools or advanced stuff.

Ahh Sweet, Its that how you get your colors to be exact,by using those programs? for our class we use adobe illustrator alot. the most i can do is mess around with text

For the most part, yes. I color more with digital programs because the options of colors are unlimited. Whereas I like to actually draw out my art first on paper. It's not that I can't draw on art programs, I just feel like it's more of "me" when I traditionally draw it first, then import it to the comp for coloring later.

And hey, everybody starts somewhere, you'll get better I know it

That's cool digital art might be tough at first, but their are many advantages to digital over traditional. Digital has unlimited colors for you to choose from and you can always undo mistakes and upload art easily. I do have to say I like the personal touch that traditional art brings though. Sometimes a mixture of both is good too.

I actually tried the Photoshop demo a few times and it's pretty good while it lasted, but I still use Paint Tool Sai mostly. I have't tried or heard of illustrator before, so I can't say anything about that

I have always wanted to do a cosplay, since I watch a lot of anime and manga, but I still have not found a character that suits me yet. I know that if I ever did do a a cosplay, I would be very picky and want to look exactly like them.

However, I kind of cosplayed for Red Riding Hood in Once Upon a Time, but I always felt it didn't count because it wasn't an anime lol

I totally get what you mean about the character-personality thing.
I never even considered cosplaying until I came across L... Also my [ex]girlfriend convinced me to cosplay as him at a convention haha but yeah, I wouldn't cosplay a character I didn't like or didn't think suited me.

And that sounds like a cosplay to me ;D

See I bet L is really fun to cosplay because then you get to act like a smart ass at the conventions XD I'm looking around for a sarcastic girlto cosplay as, because that kinda suits me. So far the closest is Rukia from Bleach, and even then it has been really difficult for people to cosplay as her, so I know I wouldn't do much better. With my red hair people say I can cosplay as Orihime, but I just consider that an insult lol No offense to Orihime fans, but she's not the sharpest fry.

And yeah I still have my costume somewhere, when I'm not too lazy I might take some photos lol

Haha I used to think I acted like him but some of the L cosplayers I met at conventions were... a little creepy ._. and the only girl I can think of is Raimei from Nabari no Ou... but she has blonde hair u_u Rukia is pretty cool though hehe

I never been to a covention (although I dream to) so I don't know how other cosplayers act. How much do they get into being the character? Also what would happen if a Light Yagami cosplayer crossed paths with an L cosplayer? Also I never heard of Nabari no Ou, but I did a google search and it seems like an interesting anime, I might watch it sometime because who knows, she might be the character I was looking for

I'm no expert in the convention-scene. I've only been twice haha and they REALLY get into character... Like, there was this one L who sat in this one chair ALL day eating this lollipop holding it at his fingertips... But hey! Whatever makes you happy xD

Hold on I'm going to merge our to convo's to one just so it'll be easier (Which will now make even more essay lengthed comments lol). I finally have met someone else who likes 30 seconds to mars! I know like almost every song by them (because I have way too much time on my hands.) And you're also the only Nirvana fan I know besides my older bro, all my other friends are into pop nowadays -_- not that there is anything wrong with that...but I fell out of the pop boat long ago.

I actually really would love to see that major L cosplayer, it's quite surprising how much they get into character. Now what would have been even funnier would be if he was on a wheelie chair and he had a Light push him around all day XD

Lol well I'm glad that ship sunk, but sadly I still have a bunch a Taylor Swift albums to remind me of the past -_- They are in a dusty corner away from my Linkin Park albums.

Does he have a DA account? It would be awesome to find him, but I guess you had no luck. Also, even though L is like my favorite anime character, I do have to admit he'll be weird in real life.

Well I guess if I have a fan already I'll upload more I might practice more of of manga drawing as well, I might have something with that. When it comes to sketching my traditional art is better, but when it comes to coloring digital is easier.

I understand you dude, it took a while for me to understand all the layers and shading, and when I first started out my digital coloring was terrible. But thank goodness I have gotten better at it. Sai is a really good program to use and practice on, and I don't use fancy tablets or stuff like that, although I think a laptop pad is actually an advantage for me. I have found lines easier to draw on a laptop, but that could just be me

Sure I wouldn't mind showing you around Sai, I have livestream so it wouldn't be hard to show you sometime. Now see when it comes to photoshop vs. Sai, I can't really decide since I only had Photoshop for a week demo so I can really judge. IMO, Sai works just as fine for coloring drawings as Photoshop. However, I think you might like this one tool on Sai that can make lines you draw more neater (:
