# About me

Andrew Mangum, began his career at Digital Webbing Presents as an inker in 2001. By 2006, he was fully illustrating for Zenescope Entertainment. Andrew’s known primarily for his dark and hyper-detailed art style, as well as his versatility as both an inker and illustrator. Andrew has worked on many titles for today’s top publishers such as DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Dynamite Entertainment and some top indy-publishers like Zenescope Entertainment, Castle-Rain Entertainment and Arcana Comics, just to name a few.

Andrew has also done several illustrations for not only the comic book medium but album covers and storyboards for movies as well.

Currently, Andrew is working on several projects. He recently finished illustrating a co-creator-owned project called 'WILDER', co-created and written by Mark Kidwell and colored by Roy Young. Andrew is a featured cover artist on 'Evil Ernie' and recently, 'Reanimator' and 'Aliens Vampirella' from Dynamite Entertainment. He is also a highlighted cover artist for Action Lab Entertainment-Danger Zone's Puppet Master and more.

Andrew, resides in Texas with his wife, two children and their pug.

What BloodRayne piece are you speaking of, the only one I've done is inked a cover over Scott Clark? As far as American Wasteland, the trade just now came out, so I've been sitting on the artwork for like 4 years..it's all old stuff that I'd kind of rather just keep with me at shows because my work has grown so much and not show it off, I am planning on doing a new pinup of one of the characters of the book though, who would you recommend!?

Apologies for not responding...

Think the one to pin up would be Sully's daughter, I forget if she had a name...

Though when I read the question I instantly got an image of the daughter mud wrestling a female zombie/vampire in pig tails. Cletus and Copperhead having stopped fighting to watch and Sumbitch in between both with a dumbfounded grin on his face.
I'm going to slap some sense into you!

Wonderful stuff. I hope someday soon to really learn the tricks of the trade :) (Smile) . I currently just like doing traditional pencil work. Really wish I could be attending the Comic Con at the moment. :P (Lick)

Thank you, appreciate the kind words about my work! Just keep drawing every day, that's the best thing you can do to learn and grow as an artist, take reference and study the visual medium that you're interested in along with photo reference which helps, digital cameras are a must in this field! The best thing like I said is to draw something everyday :) (Smile)
