the world is a unity of opposites. you make it no secret that you prefer the shadows to the light, a trait we share. but it is undeniable that without the light there would be no shadows.

One must look to the dark to realize what true light is. Just to have faith is hard because to be ignorant to one side is to not be able to reconize what is the difference between light and dark. We as humans are not born with that sense of what is bad and what is good. We learn from doing. We learn from seeing. We learn from feeling. And if a person goes through out light with out doing, seeing, feeling the darkness they cannot understand whether light is light or dark is dark.

not all those who live in the light can be labeled ignorant of the dark. some lay cast in the warmth of the light, seen to be basking in its radiance, and yet feel nothing but darkness grinding their hearts' to nothingness. as this can be true, so can those living in the darkness, drowning in shadows, be content with the life they have been delt. its all a question of optimism and pessimism. a question of faith. faith has never been easy to believe in for it cannot be taught or learned. its an absolute feeling brought from within, intrinsic and every way, shape, and form. its true we learn from doing and seeing, but not to be ignorant of the darkness of the world nor the light because one is absent from our life. if one is ignorant to either, it is because at the deepest level of conciuosness, he or she chooses to be.
