It was great!...I am so upset as my wonderful very young doctor (a beautiful wife and three girls, his "princesses", just died from something "secretive', sudden and overnight. There are rumors it was from painkillers or xanax overdose but he was a workaholic. We all have our "demons", right? However, if that is what happend to him and/or Whitney, he was a wonderful family man who worked SO hard for all us, his patients, and was always happy and supportive AND, no matter what, spent an hour with us, NO MATTER how busy he was...who hears of docs like that anymore? And then, right after this, a mere two weeks after that, I hear about poor Whitney. Such a sad start to the year...thanks 4 the great art. I am new here but will b putting up stuff soon...Take care!

Dear Emuzin,

Thanks for the reply and yes, I think of your reply everyday...I put up some old "tries" at oils from a "free" time I had before giving birth to my fourth and last child and now he is 8 so I am going to start sketching soon...your one sentence about "looking forward to sharing material" has made me look constantly for a spare moment..since THAT hasn't worked..I am going to schedule a day during the week when I MUST do one art creation!! Wish me luck!!

I am sure I will!! I am still a bit "newbyish" on here and trying to get accustomed to "copyright" the deviant way..so far, no problems..and the webpage was hard to figure out even tho I am no new person to being a nerdy computer nerd...but once learned, I am having a ball with all the "widgets". I will putting up my own fairly decent oil paintings soon, but will have to go to Kinkos or such to get them "smallerized" 2 scan it into the website..none of them are star wars..I could never do people very well, but have been trying to save up for this really great homeschooling ARt Academy as I was born with the artist gift that is strewn thruout my entire family..need to have it cultivated w/other ideas and guidance..other mediums, ya know?

Especially, since I see SO many better artist out here than me! I have been so busy raising kids that I have left my artistry become stagnant for awhile!!

Sorry so long..kind of chatty cathy today..anyway, Star Wars was my savior during a horrible abusive childhood and so was obsessive sketching!!

Han Solo is STILL so hot, right??? (yehaa)

If you have burning questions about DA or our group please don't hesitate to ask.

We are glad to have you as members in no matter if you submit SW artworks or not. Don't let yourself be intimidated by better artists. I bet your artworks are great, too.

I know this is probaby a stupid question, but do people make videos of non-copyright pics running with music, as an artform? (kind of like youtube?) My friends tell me people here mostly just do the "stamps" and stil art, traditional or computer graphics? Kind of stupiod question, but I HAD to ask it just in case...

Well, here on DA people do all sorts of art. From traditional to digital and also videos, yeah. There is a special section here on DA just for films [link]
