Greetings,
I wanted to drop off this note to let you know I appreciate your comments and the time you took to view and do so on my work. I have looked though your work and with the strength of such I know I need more time to return and really get into your artwork. I doubt my words will be as fantastic as yours as I tend to not know how to structure a comment - I just know if I like something.... don't usually know why.
Thank you again - I will also be watching your work - it is splendid in it's variety and execution.

Any time my friend, I think often we forget what the true purpose of this website is. Or maybe I'm just a dick who thinks he should be criticizing people's work, haha. Either way, any time man, I really like what you do.
I totally agree with you as well, in that I like things without a specific reason, which may be the best way to view art; totally unbiased by things we consider "rules" like the rule of thirds or how you're to place a subject in a frame, etc. If something looks cool, it looks cool, we shouldn't be so keen on labeling everything. I feel like it in some ways leads all too much into playing off of the rules, rather than coming up with original ideas. But at the same time, people study "what looks good" to the human brain, and the "rules" we come up with are based off these studies, so maybe I'm the ignoramus here, haha.
At any rate, I greatly appreciate the reciprocation of the watch. Don't spend too much bother with the older part of my gallery, it's unnecessarily large, from a time of not knowing what looks good, experimentation and such. Though if you wanted to see my progression as a photographer, it's there, it might take you a day though haha.

I did not know the true purpose of the site - is it to comment on work? I like to fave and run - I never ask for comments nor critiques - if people leave them so be it but frankly once I post an image I am already working on my next. Few comments or critiques are worthwhile from my end - if I am asked specifically about an issue the artist may have about their work, a technical quality etc I would answer in full but as it stands when I see a work posted I feel the artist posted their very best at the time.
I'll be sure to see your work and your progression - it will be interesting to see. I remember reading An Autobiography by Ansel Adams. He discussed his issues with contrasts, bad judgments, poor spotting and retouching skills - as he got better and better he became the master is now known to be - I went to a private exhibit of his prints in NYC and I could see right in front of me the progression of his printing and photographic skills - poor attempts at spotting etc to the majestic perfectly printed large prints. I learned to always practice - always - because I have much room to get better. I am glad he kept at it because his work is amazing to see in person.

Clearly I could take a page from your book sir, because I over analyze a lot of things. In doing so, I've learned to better myself by learning from mistakes rather than compliments, but at the same time I think I critique people with that mindset, haha. I should just "fav and run" as you say. I'ma start doin' that, instead of being "a dick", because that's what my critique can easily be viewed as sometimes.
That's quite an inspiring anecdote about Ansel Adams though, even more great that you were able to witness his art and progression so tangibly. Practice is indeed the fastest way to get better. No matter what people say about it; if it is or isn't technically good, confidence in one's self and practice are all you really need to move forward. Haha, what could I end this motivational speech with? hmm howsabout: "Keep the dream alive." haha
That ought to do.

I rummaged around for a bit, commented on shit that captured my eye. Good stuff. I should've left a bunch of annoying comments aswell like "omg cute lolz" and "".

I don't see why you wouldn't leave any annoying comments, isn't that what we're supposed to be doing? We're not supposed to know why we like something, question or criticize; we're to just follow the current blindly, right?
Anyhoo, I really appreciate it man, I'm sorry I've yet to get around to your shit after saying I would, makes me look like a dick, but eh well, that's usually what happens and I've come to terms with that.

I forgot you don't live in America, hahaha, your "current" is probably great, my current is full of oil and medical waste and plutonium. I mean, how is Finland anyways? I'm looking to get out of here.
All your comments are better than most comments I've ever received and they were about nothing, so, keep on keepin' on I guess? It only gets better from here? haha

Don't know about finland. Overall, Finns are grumpy. I'd suggest staying along the coast if you come here. Great nature, beautiful archipelago and.. ehm.. relatively nice people. Swedish-speaking finns that is ^^ But hey, do whatever. Should you come, get your arse over to Vaasa, and I'll show you around (and rob you of all your belongings and leave you naked in a gaybar )
Not so much commenting as conversation, but it's something I appreciate about dA.

hahaha hmm, yes, I'll consider being robbed, sounds like a good story to tell.
Either way, I'm getting the hell out of here because America is going to shit, has been going to shit for years, if you knew it or not. Capitalism is the devil! WE HAVE TO KILL THE DEVIL! hahahahahaaaaaaaaah... damn it.

Let's talk about trains; I find the caboose to be the most sensual and erotic of the train cars.

Can you come up with a list of music artists you could introduce me to? I'm always looking to expand my musical vocabulary. You donβt have to but it would be very appreciated.

Yes I could, though what are your currently most enjoyed musics? Genre, band, whatever.
I like all sorts of stuff, so it really depends more on what you've already heard, than what I have to offer. At least that'd take some tedium out of making a list.
