medan sih ada potensi, tp ya kudu digali2 kembali. Sejarah komik medan harus dijadiin titik tolak kepercayaan diri. tp bukan berarti harus bikin komik jadul lagi. Sbg inspirasi dan yg penting sekarang banyakin dulu komunitas komik di medan. abis itu ngumpul bareng bikin acara rutin, bazaar komik di galeri2 seni kota medan. step by step... sabar huehehe...

acaranya 'Bangkit Komik Medan!' acara kecil2an aja utk anak2 BU sendiri. Namanya aja biar hueboh.
Bertempat di jalan Sibarau no.17, tanggal 10 mei 2008, hari Sabtu, jam 8.30 pendaftaran, jam 9-10 art talk ttg komik lokal dan global kemudian jurnalisme komik. abis itu 10.30-selesai workshop komik: semua bisa bikin komik. gue sendirian kayaknya yg instruktur. huehehe.. ala kadarnya aja. dulu pernah bikin semacam silabus ngomik, rencana masa depan mau dibikin materi ngajar kursus komik kecil2an, dan baru kemudian di bukuin dikit2.

kaloa ada karya2 yg mau dijual, bisa datang langsung, ada tempat kecil2an meja sekolah dan bangku utk jualan. atau titip ke mas eko fazra (kalo kenal kartunis dan juga auditor asuransi ini).

masa sih udah banyak? beneran nih. ntar setelah gue come back ke medan, gw mau menggelar kecil2an pameran komik lokal, terserah mo disebut dojinshi kek, fans art kek, ato apa.
rencananya ntar mei gue mau bikin acara kecil2an di budi utomo, alumni gue, sekedar mengenalkan komik2 dunia dan perkembangan komik lokal di sekolah itu.
Kalo punya karya, silakan di jual aja disono. tempatnya kecil aja, cuma meja belajar sekolah.
budi utomo di jalan Jurung, wahidin sana.
