Bueno, aquí les voy a traer una mini biografía de mi vida(?.Empecemos por lo básico, me llamo Agustina, el apodo me da igual, pero no me digan un nombre que nada que ver porque me molesta mucho. Tengo trece años. Nací el 27-10-1999 {Esto se lo digo a los que me quieren regalar algo jijiiji, por supuesto va a se bienvenido genialmente} Emmmm, que mas, voy a segundo año de la Secundaria, no soy una nerd pero me esta llendo mejor de lo que me imaginaba, asi que genial♥. Bueno, mas o menos hace dos años empece a mirar blends, pensaba como se hacian, pero no entendia :_ Bueno, despues encontre una pagina de tutoriales, pero ahora el poblema iba a ser como se cuando una imagen PNG, primero la buscaba en google, no ovtube mucho resultado, pero, depues, no se como llegue al deviantart y encontré millones de PNG's & bueno, asi es como empieza un poco de mi historia aca, en el deviantart Si estabas leyendo gracias {Es algo medio dudoso, pero bueno} & si no leiste, te comprendo, no siempre lo hago yo tampoco. I have to ask two things though. First off, why do you want to use dA as a file sharing network? If you're interested in type design, why not design a typeface yourself, get feedback and eventually release it on dA? That seems a lot more appropriate.
Secondly, today I sent a list of all the accounts with font packs to the typography community volunteer. Copyrights probably aren't the major issue here, but dA needs to protect its own image. dA needs to remain an art community, but if you look at the fonts section, it's becoming a file sharing network there. I noticed that 99% of the people who upload font packs are from Spanish speaking countries like Mexico, Spain and Colombia. Now my question is, why? It's really odd to me that they're all from Spanish speaking countries. In any case, this is a problem which should be dealt with soon before people think the fonts section is like a file sharing network. It was meant to upload your OWN typefaces.
Please don't upload any more fonts which don't belong to you. If you do, you risk getting your account removed.

I don't know your intentions and you may very well do it out of kindness for others. That's not the issue. In fact, last week I learned that you're actually allowed to distribute open source fonts (so do watch if it's an open source font or a font you need to buy a license for). The only issue left is the simple fact that dA shouldn't turn into a file sharing network. So please, just keep dA clean and only upload your work. There are plenty of other websites you can rightfully use to distribute open source files, but dA is an art community. Besides, the people can simply download the fonts you upload from such websites as dafonts.com, so there is no need for further distribution.
