ahh it's such an honour to hear that from you! It's not mine that's pro, it's yours a million times more - Shigatsu was the most beautiful thing ever and your instruments are so perfect and at your age what even  I play piano IRL too and see wayy too many of them butchered ._. .

we are the same age, but yours can only improve from here. ^w^  With ref or not, I can barely draw pianos. maybe I'll try again soon but my sleep-deprived rl and procrastination skills

Thank you so much for the compliment! One thing I think you should remember, however, is that it's difficult to rate artworks as being better or worse than others-- after all, parts of one could be better than the corresponding part in the other, and vice versa. And especially when you're looking at trad vs digital art, because we're famous for smashing the Ctrl+Z combo xD.

Art is subjective, after all. So please don't think your art is bad, and btw can I say you need to teach me how to draw backgrounds because that one-- the blending especially- in the watercolour piece you showed me was just so beautiful ^v^
