Nothing much to say about myself. I'm an aspiring artist hoping to share her works with fellow artists across DA. I've hopped a couple of accounts and finally feel at home with the one I'm with, and hope to eventually start my own graphic novel.

No problem if you need a hiatus from DA, all artists need breaks now and then when our irl circumstances beckon. :) (Smile)

And I'm deeply flattered that you find my gallery impressive, I was thinking the same of yours! You have a real knack for environments and detail to texture, that kind of talent deserves a much larger following (I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how realistic those horse paintings are, and I find the species you created to be really unique and fascinating). I look forward to your future works when you find the time and inspiration for it. :D (Big Grin)

Ha, yeah... my brain is malfunctioning a bit lately, damned medical degree, haha.

And wow, damn, mine has NOTHING on yours, ha! Your poses are great, your backgrounds are stunning, and your lines are amazing! (I can't work with lines at all, I delete all my sketches as I work, hehe)
I actually think I'm really bad with colours and texture and need to work on it more, as for compositions... and I find my environments need a LOT of work, though I hope to work on them more in future.
As for those horse "paintings" - they're actually just coloured pencil on black paper (Crayolas with some Faber-Castells), I don't work with paints... paint hates me, ha, and the hatred is mutual. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
Thanks though, hopefully I can improve, since I need to, ha...

Pencils, my bad. Sweating a little... Nonetheless, the pictures of the horse busts are outstanding and I could learn a thing or two from them.

And I admire when an artist has a strong sense of humility. :) (Smile) I mean, don't punish yourself too much of course, but I feel acknowledging what we as artists can do better is one of the most compelling drives to how we improve. Though from the bottom of my heart, I already consider your environmental pieces to be very inspiring, and reckon you've got a strong foundation to work with. It'll be awesome to see how your style evolves from here!

Ha, don't worry... I remember I got them framed as a surprise gift for my mother, and even up close the person in the gallery didn't realise they were coloured pencil but thought they were done with pastels, and they handle a lot of artwork.

Pfft, I wouldn't say it was humility so much as hating everything I produce and seeing nothing but a pile of rubbish, ha. :'D
And damn, I feel like I have no foundation, at least not much more than a kid throwing crayons at a page and making random mess, but I hope to at least get a BIT better, even if I can never be good at anything.
And thanks anyway, ha, hopefully I figure out how to art, even KIND OF... LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
