Yes, the island is beautiful. I used to live here when I was much smaller but we came back when I was 2 or 3. And thank you, doll, I appreciate that.

What I don't get though is that teachers are still trying to give us projects/assignments with less than a week of school left. But do you have any plans for the summer?

And ya my school is odd, usually classes die down but the main issue is my AP/college classes act like the universe revolves around their class sometimes. What's worse is that I already took the AP English final a few weeks ago and they kept the class going afterward. Like, ok I thought the class was done...? But your summer pretty much sounds like mine verbatum except I don't know how much swimming I'll do and I really want SU to be close to if not done (wishful thinking) before summer ends, and I want to draw more. And ya, I need to learn to drive still, too. I've been running a babysitting business of sorts since middle school but now that I'm going away I think I'm going to do that work study thing or whatever they call it, I'm going to work on campus and part of my paycheck will go toward tuition and then I keep the other half. I don't know where I'd work otherwise. I couldn't do a restraunt/fastfood, I just couldn't do it. And like everyone works at the groccery store or the ice cream parlor so I have no idea where I would go near my house.

Ahhh, AP/college classes. It makes sense now. That's weird about your English class though, but again, that's an AP class for you. To be honest I'm not sure how much swimming I'll get to do either, just hoping that I can get some in. That sounds good. I hope you can do it! I really need to try to do some drawing of my own here soon. I've been wanting to upload something since it's been so long and to show how I've hopefully improved, but I'm having trouble finding inspiration or getting anything to look good enough. :/ Hopefully we'll both know how soon enough. Oh, a babysitting business, that's cool. And that sounds like a really good idea. I know what you mean. I couldn't do something like that either. And that's the exact same problem I'm having, that the few things I wouldn't mind doing aren't near my house. So I think I'm just going to wait until I start college after all.

Ya I've been in what my school calls the honors program since 7th grade so I started taking some high school classes in middle school then college courses in high school. We're the first graduating class to do it so we've been like the guinea pigs for the whole thing so it's had it's up and downs.
But I hope you get to swim that sounds lovely right now, it's so muggy over here right now. Do you swim like as a sport or just like for fun?
And ya me too, in my head everything "theoretically shouldn't take too long," or so I tell myself, but then it's hard to say when it's actually going to get done. I'm happy with it and I don't want it to be done but I do so I can write new (hopefully shorter) stories, or better yet try to do a oneshot that doesn't turn into a 40 chaptered story like SU.
And I'd love it if you uploaded some new stuff so I could check it out, I'm sure you've improved. The more you do something it's hard not to get better at it even if only in increments. And artist block sucks, but try doing a doodle sheet and just doodle whatever you want, like a ton of random things all over whatever comes to mind and maybe that will help give you an idea or you could listen to music I find helps sometimes. As far as it doesn't look good enough, that happens to me sometimes when I haven't drawn in a while. Best thing for that is to just draw something simple-ish before you draw what you actually want to draw to get you back into your groove.
And ya I would definitely look into whether or not your school does that (I'm sure it does) and look into how to get into it. I know for where I'm going you need to submit an application by July something, I don't know I have to check the day, so you might as well I would imagine.

Oh I see. Yeah, I definitely understand that. My school had a similar experience when they decided to start having more electives for 7th and 8th graders. As for honors classes, my school had them since 7th grade as well, but I can't remember whether it was a new thing or not. But I was in them myself. I was in AP Math ever since 7th grade, and did try out AP English in 8th grade only to drop out of it I'm ashamed to say. (not because it was too hard for me, but due to this teacher who HATED me and I really disliked too.) The only other AP class we had I believe was History, though for some reason they never placed me in it despite always making high 90s in my history classes.

Aww thanks for the support. Exactly, and since I've not only being drawing a lot but actually trying to improve as well hopefully that makes it even more likely I have. And all of those are great suggestions! Some of them I was already doing but I'll try the ones I haven't as well, so thanks for them. Luckily my anime watching here recently has been stirring up some creativity, so maybe before too long I can hopefully get something up.

Ah geez, I am not a math or even a number person at all. That was the only class I couldn't have gotten into if I tried (I honestly wonder why I thought taking college physics was a good idea, that whole course was nothing but math). But aw, don't feel bad about that, it's hard to work with someone who's insuffrable. I almost was going to drop my global class sophmore year because the teacher started out nice and turned out to be a huge jerk. But naturally she only had an issue with her honors class, you know the kids who do their work and actually want to learn. I know it sounds like a mad house, children wanting to learn. How dare we, this isn't school or something... but I digress. And let's see we have English, math, history, science, language (Spanish and Italian) once you complete the now state exam (it was a formal proficiency exam when I was a sophmore but they changed it this year in NY), art after you've taken a certain sequence, some technology thing I don't know anything about because its new and I think that's it.

Haha, ya I can swim so I won't drown (unless I get tired with my huge muscles femminine noodle arms in which case I'm screwed) but I could never do it as a sport.
