Thx! If you're curious about the kitten story I'll tell you. You've probably read that most of my family is into the vet career. Sometimes I go to work with my mom to help with the animals. She even lets me watch when she preforms surgery. Anyway, it was fifteen mins until closing time. My mom had gotten a call from my dad telling her to meet her a t this fancy resturaunt (it was their aniversery). She was excited. I told her to go and I would lock the door in fifteen mins. And I would call and ask my sister to drive me home. I was just closing the door as a woman came with a new born kitten in her hands. She said That her kitten wasn't doing well since birth. I examined him and he was born with a very enclosed airway. I called my mom and she said if someone didn't preform the surgery right now the cat would die. She started to drive over, but she told me I had to preform the surgery. I had watched her do this many times. She walked me through it as I did surgery on a kitten at age fourteen. When my mom arrived she examined him again and she said I did it perfectly. I don't generaly think of myself as a hero. I mean anyone would've tried to help it.

No, don't think of yourself as a hero, but don't downplay the act either. Not everyone would've tried to help, and not everyone would've been able to do it. If you hadn't, that kitten would've died and that woman would've lost something special. So good job!
I myself love pets but I don't think I'll ever become a vet. My mom loves pets too, particularly cats, we have 7 of them
I'm kinda curious how the surgery was done. I can't think of how you would open, and keep open the trachea indefinitely.

It wasn't exactly easy. Most people don't want to be vets because they don't want to put them down. I think of it as taking away the pain. I have two more cats then you!(lol) Any dogs? My dog, Xander is ill now. My mom's examining him today...
