Personality: Saeda isn't always the first one to jump into battle, but only because she's more of a strategist. She likes to find information that can lead to an enemy's weakness before she even attacks. However, she has a short temper, so that will change if you make her angry. Normally very calm, she seems to have dulled emotions or that she isn't paying attention, but it is just a part of what makes Saeda... well, Saeda. But make her angry, and all the fire of Kalabaz comes out, and it's best not to get in the way.

History:
Saeda grew up in Kalabaz, training in Kalabaz Temple under the guidance of its Maesters. She has quite the gift for Black Magic, and easily excelled in learning and using it. However, by the time she was 19, she already knew most - if not all - that the temple could offer her in the field of Black Magic. She started training the younger Yevonites at that time, and overseeing prayer in the temple. She also helped to coordinate help for those in need, like slaves who had escaped Quitos, or even Quitan Soldiers and the like. She did not want to help Quitos, but it was her duty at the temple.

Which is exactly what got her into this mess in the first place.

One of the days she wasn't teaching, she oversaw the prayer in the temple. A Quitan soldier walked up to Sae, demanding asylum after an incident overseas, and he'd survived and landed himself in Kalabaz. He demanded food and shelter, and she promised it to him, albeit unhappily. Not long after, a disheveled looking Ronso came to ask something similar. "Rakka once slave, man die, Rakka free. No place go."

The Quitan Soldier must have heard, and stalked over and started to yell at the Ronso about he was still a slave, even after his Master had died in that same incident on the sea. The Ronso would not have it, and started to attack the soldier before saying, "No, slave. You are still a slave."

Saeda had never seen something like this happen, and she had no idea how to handle it. So instead of doing it peacefully, as any Maester would have done, she pointed her glaive at the two and started to raise her voice. "Get out of my temple if you wish to fight. You cannot soil the sacred grounds!"

The two stopped just long enough to stare at Saeda... and then the Ronso punched the soldier in the face. Again.

They continued to ignore her for a time, continuing to fight, and before long - and before Sae could even intervene - the Ronso had bested the Soldier. Once things calmed down, all the Ronso uttered was, "Quitos started it". Classy, Rakka. Classy.

The Ronso had essentially beaten the soldier to a bloody pulp, and so two White Mages dragged him into a recovery ward of the temple in order to heal him - and you know, make sure he didn't come back some day and kill Sae, or the Ronso, and then destroy the temple and take slaves from Kalabaz. That sort of thing.

Once the Maester was altered of the situation, he kicked Saeda out of the temple, as she was no longer welcome. She allowed blood to be spilled on the temple's floor, and a Quitan Soldier no less. She was promptly ushered out alongside the Ronso.

He would mutter things like, "Rakka sorry" and "Rakka did not mean", but it was too late. Now she had nowhere else to go.

Through Rakka and her travels together, they have now come to Tetra, as it is a safe haven for former slaves. "Safe", however, only in the sense that many former slaves fled to Tetra, and there is some safety if you hide amongst the crowd.

Specialty: Being born in Kalabaz, Saeda is skilled in Fire Magic. Fire does not harm her, but rather heals her, aside from it being her go-to element. [Fire Eater]
