Was sketching traditionally for small piece for a friend, so I took the opportunity to try and do a full-shaded piece in pencils alongside it, just to see if I could still pull it off. =,=" If I weren't so floppy with anatomy, I'd go with this approach more ... it's really relaxing. And my pencil style always looks rather different than digital, which is always ... interesting lol.

A Touhou and Mad Alice Returns crossover: Marisa Kirisame as Alice Liddell, wearing her "Steamdress" which I just adoooooore. <3 [link] (I'm very casual about it, but I do rather like steampunk and its fashions / contraptions.)

Idea credit to , with a larger project to follow in the coming weeks on the same theme.
(Random broom-naginata-vorpal-blade-thingo was impromptu and ridiculous. If you like it though I could use it for the full project as well. ='3 Have this while I fudge around with the main image ... class starting again in two days is going to demotivate and slow me down a tad.)

Also it was just nice to draw Marisa ... she's arguably still my favourite over Koishi, but I sure as heck haven't drawn her much.
