HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BELL!
Ahem, yes. Today is 's birthday, and this year I decided to draw her gorgeous lady NEPHTHYS. I had a few different ideas for what I should be drawing, but I ended up with Neph ...because I like her a lot. She's cool and pretty and I'm not sure I did her any justice, but.. ahem. She was hard to draw and not cooperating, forgive me! D8
..anyway, so what's going on here? This would be Neph... hanging out in the FleKK universe. Say what now? WHY IS THIS?
NO CLUE, really. It happened a long time ago (like.. way back!) when Bell was talking about what her characters would be like in the FleKK universe, and ever since I've been toying with the idea of drawing Neph as a FELLISH LADY, because she matches their looks of dark hair/medium dark skin. Not to mention the fact that these ladies are often quite badass.
So yes, that would be the reason.
...It's a silly reason. I'm sorry x'D
Anyway URGH, give me a moment to cry about the fabric folds and that freakishly crooked lantern thing.
And all the friggin little golden details x'D

THIS IS SO PRETTY I was like WOAH when I saw it first on tumblr and now I am like even more woah because you cannot have enough woah on your artwork <3. Those details man they are beautiful, and also that lantern does not look crooked and I wanted to ask you FOR A TUTORIAL ON THAT OR SOMETHING because it looks so real. So do the folds SO DOES EVERYTHING.

THANK YOU SO MUCH; I slaved over this one for.. way too long, urggh. The worst part was actually shading the skinnn, because I'm really bad at that. ... ..second only to LINEARTING. I hate linearting/inking so much; it's the worst part x'D
You like the lanteeeern? *u* I could totally do a tutorial on those.. it took a lot of fiddling and careful thinking, but once I got past it it was just nitpicking work, but not that hard.
...I have never made a tutorial before, though. ARE YOU PREPARED TO WATCH ME FAIL AT THAT? x'D
